Chapter 1187 Perfect Collaboration!
Peggy and the others were confused when they heard w.a.n.g Teng’s commands.
How did he know the location of the Devil Vines?
They found it incredible, but that didn’t stop them from reacting. They had built enough trust in w.a.n.g Teng during their previous mission.
Everyone recognized his ability, so they believed that he wouldn’t lie to them. Hence, Peggy and the others immediately dashed to their locations.
!!
They attacked in groups of three. Two of them held back the black vines sweeping toward them and slashed a hole in the web. The last person dashed at the main body of the Devil Vine.
Boom!
Boom!
Peggy and Arwen were both celestial-stage martial warriors. One strike was enough to force the Devil Vine out of the ground.
w.a.n.g Teng had already told them the exact locations of the Devil Vines, so they succeeded in one try. They didn’t give the Devil Vines any chances of escaping.
Everyone released their attacks and hurled Force attacks on the ground, killing the Devil Vines directly.
w.a.n.g Teng didn’t move.
What were subordinates for? The hard labor of course!
Why shouldn’t he use this hard labor?
He acted the previous time because he wanted to understand the exact situation of the Devil Vine.
Now that he knew how it would act and what it was, he decided to let his team take care of them.
He watched his team killing the Devil Vines and nodded in satisfaction.
Not bad, not bad. Their abilities were not bad!
Attribute bubbles started popping out of the ground after the Devil Vines got killed.
These Devil Vines were hidden beneath the ground, so this wasn’t strange. It was quite an interesting scene.
What a pity that w.a.n.g Teng was the only one who could see it.
w.a.n.g Teng smiled and released his spiritual power. He picked up the attribute bubbles.
Constellation Force (Dark)*2200
Devil Vine*120
Blank Attribute*4000
Devil Vine*150
Constellation Force (Dark)*2400
Blank Attribute*5500
…
“Good, good. Well done!” w.a.n.g Teng was elated. He cheered his team on. “All the best! Go for it!”
Everyone: …
They did rely on w.a.n.g Teng’s command to find the exact location of the Devil Vines and killed them. But they somehow felt frustrated when he threw all the work to them.
Why was he cheering them on? Did he think that this was a tug-of-war compet.i.tion?
Peggy was speechless. She thought that her leader was reliable, but she had second thoughts now.
Their leader was a weirdo. He should be more serious when fighting with the Devil Vines. It was a dangerous task after all.
Olivia didn’t act either. She was the weakest here. If she moved, other people would have to take care of her.
She glanced at w.a.n.g Teng and said, “Brother w.a.n.g Teng, you’ll get beaten up.”
“You’re doing nothing. What right do you have to complain about me?” w.a.n.g Teng glanced at her and said contemptuously.
(•́へ•́╬)
Olivia was furious, but she didn’t dare to refute it. She stuck out her tongue behind w.a.n.g Teng’s back and then stood beside him quietly as if she didn’t exist.
w.a.n.g Teng did realize that he was acting a little mean.
As someone who took care of his subordinates, he coughed awkwardly and put on a stern face. He continued, “Peggy, 45 meters 3 o’clock. 150 meters below the ground.
“Arwen, 60 meters 10 o’clock, 150 meters below the ground.
“And, erm, Jack, 80 meters 9 o’clock, 200 meters below the ground.”
…
“Oh my, Sir, why is mine so deep? I’m not a mouse. I don’t like to make holes,” Jack complained. He was a muscular young man with long brown hair.
w.a.n.g Teng’s face turned black.
F**k, this subordinate wasn’t sensitive at all.
During the previous mission, he said that he was a professional at digging holes.
Wasn’t Jack slapping his face?
If you’re not a mouse, am I one?
Peggy raised her eyebrows. She recalled the same thing.
She felt that Jack was dead.
Should she plead for him?
“Cut the c.r.a.p. I’ll hold you responsible if it runs away,” w.a.n.g Teng replied angrily.
Jack shrunk his neck when he saw w.a.n.g Teng’s strict expression. He didn’t dare to fool around anymore and hurriedly went to find the Devil Vine.
Soon, the Devil Vines around them were all destroyed. The sky full of black vines had disappeared.
w.a.n.g Teng finished collecting his attribute bubbles. He was content.
He felt refreshed!
He collected attribute bubbles while others did the work. What a perfect collaboration!
His constellation dark Force increased by more than 30,000 points, but it didn’t achieve a breakthrough. It was still at the eighth level of the planetary stage.
Constellation Dark Force: 35200/80000 (planetary stage eighth level)
His blank attributes rose by more than 50,000 points. Before this, he had more than 70,000 blank attributes, so he acc.u.mulated more than 120,000 blank attributes now.
Blank Attribute: 127500
Amazing!
His blank attributes finally hit a hundred thousand. w.a.n.g Teng took a deep breath to calm his excitement.
Lastly, there was the Devil Vine attribute.
He picked up more than 3000 points, allowing his Devil Vine attribute to jump to the well-versed stage.
Devil Vine: 2600/3000 (well-versed)
w.a.n.g Teng blinked. He felt more familiar with the Devil Vine skill.
Foundation was the beginner stage. Well-versed meant that he could execute the Devil Vine smoothly whenever he wanted to. The speed of execution wouldn’t be a burden.
Speaking about it, the Devil Vine and the Devil Armor were quite similar. Both were skills that could form armor.
Besides dark Force, he could use other Forces for the Devil Armor skill.
The same applied to other skills.
Ever since w.a.n.g Teng’s enlightenment reached the cosmos realm, he had been receiving many ideas.
w.a.n.g Teng wondered if he could make a more powerful Force armor if he combined the two skills.
This was how secret skills were formed by formidable warriors.
Many formidable martial warriors would observe star beast techniques for years. They would then use their inspirations to modify their skills, perfecting them until they were second nature to them.
As for w.a.n.g Teng, he didn’t need the observation time. He had all the skills already, so he just needed to modify them to become his very own secret skills.
“Major w.a.n.g Teng, all the Devil Vines have been destroyed.” Peggy brought the other martial warriors over and reported.
Everyone was looking at w.a.n.g Teng with respect.
Their leader was so impressive!
Although w.a.n.g Teng didn’t move, he was powerful. There was no doubt about that. After all, he dealt with these troublesome Devil Vines just by moving his mouth.
How many people could do this?
“Let’s continue.” w.a.n.g Teng blinked and nodded.
The team entered the mist once again.
Time flew. The journey wasn’t smooth.
New Devil Vines would appear every few meters, attempting to stop them. It was like an obstacle course.
But under w.a.n.g Teng’s lead, they pa.s.sed the obstacles easily.
w.a.n.g Teng earned another round of attributes.
“Stop!”
Half an hour later, w.a.n.g Teng stopped beside a large tree trunk and raised his hand to ask his team to pause.
“Boss, what’s the matter?” Arwen squinted.
“Someone’s coming.” Through his Spiritual Sight, w.a.n.g Teng saw many b.a.l.l.s of Force lights rus.h.i.+ng toward them. They were moving quickly. One of the b.a.l.l.s seemed familiar.
“Someone’s coming!” Everyone was stunned. They got ready for an attack.
“Don’t worry. They’re old friends.” A smile appeared at the edge of w.a.n.g Teng’s lips. He was gloating.
“An old friend?” Peggy asked in surprise.
“It’s Wendell. He has the same mission as us,” w.a.n.g Teng explained.
“Wendell.” Everyone was shocked.
Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh.
As they spoke, a figure dashed out from the mist and arrived below the tree where w.a.n.g Teng was.
“w.a.n.g Teng!”
Wendell was in a tragic stage. He noticed w.a.n.g Teng instantly and called him in astonishment.
