Chapter 3063 Feud
Davis turned speechless, his expression turning awkward as what he said wasn"t the least bit consoling.
If women were captured, then even without having to think, anyone with a sense of danger would know what would happen next. Although it was known to them that there were eyes peering at them from above, perhaps looking at each of their actions and judging them, killing was still allowed. If killing was truly allowed, so was everything else.
"Excuse me. I would have to… take my leave."
Cyclonis Blizzara cupped hands to Davis, her head lowering, but Davis shook his head.
"You"re planning on saving them? It"s too late, and you"re not powerful enough."
"Even so…"
Cyclonis Blizzara clenched her teeth, unable to continue as she felt intense wrath enveloping her. She couldn"t believe she was useless at the moment as her prowess wasn"t on par with these so-called Heavenly Monarchs.
She was once the Matriarch of the Ice Phoenix Clan. How could she not save her clan"s disciples?
But if she went there, she knew for a fact that she would meet the same fate as the two female disciples of her Ice Phoenix Clan.
"…?"
Lea turned to look away and saw that Cyclonis Blizzara"s raging undulations had attracted a Feral Beast. She recognized that it was a giant sparrow before turning to look at Davis.
"Let"s just help her."
She sent him a soul transmission, causing Davis to appear contemplative.
In a region not so far away yet still a considerable distance, there were four men and one woman amidst a dense forest.
They appeared to have jade-white pale skin like they were made out of wax, clad in black robes with fas.h.i.+onable adornments over their heads, one of them even wearing a crown. Their eyes were white like ghosts, but each one of them possessed a dark aura yet also radiated a hostile intent as they looked at the two unconscious women who seemed to have some b.l.o.o.d.y lacerations on their skin.????????.???
They were white-blue robed yet also, their hairs blue with a silvery sheen. Perhaps, they could make any man fall for their looks as they lay vulnerable on the ground that was full of icy battle marks.
These two women were none other than the women from the Ice Phoenix Clan.
Surprisingly, one of them even possessed a King-Tier aura emanating around their body.
"I can"t believe they"re from that mythical place."
"From their fragmented memories, it seems like someone baited them into this Astral Forgeheart Minor Realm and failed to contain..."
Amidst the five, a man and a woman spoke as they held an imposing aura.
"Pui!"
Another black-robed man spat at the corpses of the men from the Ice Phoenix Clan with an expression full of disgust and contempt. Two of these men seemed to be fey and another human, but they were all deader than dead regardless, killed two times by the man before them.
"Kingly Monarch, we do not have much information on these people. I think we should also soulsc-ah! "
He turned to look at the man whose head was adorned with a crown and was speaking casually when a kick fell on his back, causing him to fly a few meters ahead and crash into a tree.
"Senior sister Meili, why?" He flew out of the crashed tree, appearing embarra.s.sed as he lowered his head.
"Idiot, we can soulscour them."
The woman giggled with a sky tone, her veiled face leaving many expressions to speculate. She turned to look at the man with the crown, her white pupils gleaming with fondness.
"However, these two women were captured by my darling, and you all obey him. Naturally, these two belong to him for the duration of this adventure."
The crowned black-robed man smirked ever so lightly, turning to look at the black-robed women who seemed to be head-over-heels for him.
"Meili, you fulfill all my desires. There"s no need for other women in my life."
He reached out his hand, his hand slipping inside the purple veil as he caressed her soft cheek.
"My king, you cannot say that…" Meili"s expression melted, "These two women may not be worth your time, but they"re from the Ice Phoenix Clan who we"re at war with. How can we not humiliate them with the chance we got?"
The man laughed lightly, "Obviously, these two are from this so-called First Haven World"s Ice Phoenix Clan. They have nothing to do with-"
"That"s not the case." Meili shook her head as she interrupted him, "When I was little, I heard my grandfather speak that almost all the Lower Realms made a contract with a grand character from a few million years ago, sending their people inside to that person"s world to seek something. He didn"t know what that was, but if it is true, then these people could very well be from that world, so that makes them heavily related to the Ice Phoenix Lower Realm."
"…"I think you should take a look at
The crowned black-robed man, who was addressed as a king, pursed his lips, appearing to contemplate.
"They would be valuable prisoners to our Ghostly Crow Clan, but since we"re probably going to die if we do not succeed in this maddening alchemy adventure, then-"
He smirked, causing Meili to giggle.
"Exactly, my king. They"re yours to feast on."
She brought her face closer, and their lips connected before they engaged in a pa.s.sionate bout.
The other three men instantly threw their gaze elsewhere, their expressions complicated, but their hearts also subdued as they didn"t want to offend the person they called Kingly Monarch. They didn"t see much but could sense his wings stretch out and cover Meili as though he had her in his jaws.
A few moments later, their lips parted as they looked into each other"s eyes with desire and adoration before the woman turned to look at the two helpless beauties remaining unconscious.
She stepped out of his embrace and looked at them with schadenfreude.
"I really want to see what the Ice Phoenix Lower Realm"s disciples would feel once they saw the kind of fate their fellow people from a forgotten land meet here."
"Fair enough. But you haven"t forgotten that we"re being monitored by the two Upper Realms, right?"
Another black-robed man uttered, causing Meili to look at him.
"Haiten. Although you have the blood of the Ghostly Crow, you do not belong to our clan, so why do you have so much to say when your job is to only be an alchemist?"
Meili reached out her hand and brought out a small abode beside them as she smiled.
"With this, no one would be peering at us from the skies."
"…"
Haiten could only shut his mouth as he lightly shook his head, but he could understand the hatred Meili was feeling right now. The phoenixes considered themselves high and mighty above any bird, leaving the crows or any other birds feeling like they were inferior. It wasn"t just feels as they were also mocked every chance the phoenixes got, leaving their Ghostly Crow warring with the Ice Phoenix Clan in the past few century millenniums.
Similarly, the Golden Crow Lower Realm was also at war with the Fire Phoenix Lower Realm and the Golden Phoenix Lower Realm.
However, this wasn"t just the case, as he knew Meili lost her father and mother to the Ice Phoenix Clan, leaving her without parents. He could see her white eyes gleaming with hatred as she looked at the two women.
"Wait… this aura…" However, he turned to look in a direction, his brows fluttering.
"More intruders from that mythical and elusive world?"
Meili"s gaze flickered as she turned to look into the distance. Right now, she seemed to have lost her patience, wanting to please her man as much as possible while also getting her revenge but then a group of people approached them without being slow or fast, leaving her confused.
Her brows heavily narrowed as she saw seven black-robed people appear in front of them, causing her to feel a bit closer.
"Ghostly Crows…?"
She appeared to be at a loss as she looked at her distant relatives, who were probably also related to her clan. Furthermore, there was also another clan here, the Lunar Crow Clan.
Upon hearing her words, one of them immediately ran towards them and knelt on the ground, his expression full of solemness as he cupped his hands.
"Seniors and my king, we"re from the Ghostly Crow Clan from the First Haven World. Please guide us!"
"Please guide us!"
The others also shouted as they bowed, leaving the five of them a bit stunned.
However, there were three others who didn"t seem to say anything, causing Meili to narrow her brows as she pointed toward a hooded woman who seemed to be their leader.
"You-you"re also a Ghostly Crow. Why are you not paying your respects to our Kingly Monarch? State your name!"
The man who knelt felt panicked as he turned to look at the hooded woman.
"Junior sister, this isn"t the time to be haughty. You saw what happened out there, so please! Quick, follow my actions…" He quickly beckoned with his hands as he spoke in a soft, pleading tone.
"..."
The black-robed hooded woman removed her hood, revealing her ethereal white eyes that momentarily stunned the Kingly Monarch even though her face was still veiled.
"My name is... Nyoran."
