Davis"s decision to keep the diluted Gilded Realm Ascendant Pills instead of splurging on them made everyone blink.

After all, everyone got it and only Iesha other than those five hadn"t got the pills. Iesha was pregnant, so she didn"t visit and Shea left her avatar to take care of the children to be here.

Panqa and Lanqua blinked. They were expectant of receiving from his hands but could only nod their heads.

Shea smilingly nodded her head, looking not at all bothered.

Aila raised her hands and looked pumped, "I"ll work hard to prove myself."

"Haha." Davis chuckled lightly, "This has nothing to do with proving yourself and everything with trust and confidence which I have as I have long ago ever since deciding to take you all as my wives. Here."

He sent the four pills to Panqa, Lanqua, Shea and Aila, causing them to blink as they looked at the pill with shock visible in their eyes.

"I only wanted to keep it in case we could use it as a bargaining chip needed to secure some safety in the world. People are p.r.o.ne to corruption and they might turn a blind eye to an Anarchic Divergent if they were to receive enough of a bribe. For example, if we get caught by a ruler, then giving this may or may not convince the other party to look the other way."

"Ohh…" Panqa opened her eyes wide as she understood.

She quickly threw the pill back to Davis.

"Then use mine for it. I"m not good at making schemes but if this pill can be of use, then please use it."

Davis caught it back, inclining his head with an amused smile.

"Are you sure? I am saving one for Fiora and might even give one of these to my father or mother in order to a.s.sure their survival."

"No problem!"

Panqa yelled out with her eyes closed but anyone could see that she couldn"t bear to part with the pill. On the other hand, Fiora looked moved.

She did give her pill to Natalya, so she was wondering if she might get it again but didn"t dare to ask as she had used up her chance.

"If my sister isn"t taking it, then I am not also willing."

Lanqua gave it back with a wry expression on her face.

"I… I"m really not strong. This invaluable pill wouldn"t be of any use on me."

Shea also gave it back. She looked more embarra.s.sed rather than sad to give away the pill.

"Ah…" Aila looked like she was going to cry, "I really want this pill. Can I have it?"

"Go ahead."

Davis nodded.

Aila pursed her lips, appearing like she was going to cry. Who wouldn"t want this pill?

Giving it away looked like the most foolish thing to do in the world.

However, she also threw it back at him.

"I haven"t even done anything yet for this family. A new blood like me shouldn"t be this greedy. I apologize~"

Davis looked at the four pills in his hands. He was sure he had given them away yet it was back in his hands. It was his fault for saying something like having some other uses.

"Very good." Mingzhi praised them, "You four are exemplary in your actions. There is no need to worry since Davis is not the type of man to leave you empty handed. Sooner or later, he will provide you with the most valuable resources he could obtain."

Panqa and the others finally looked soothed, partly because of the resources but because their actions of giving them back were publicly acknowledged.

"I"ll remember this."

Davis kept the pills in his life ring and nodded.

"In two days, we"ll be leaving for the Azure Tree Lower Realm. It is going to be a long journey, so prepare yourselves."

Evelynn, Isabella, s.h.i.+rley, Mingzhi and Myria didn"t drink.

They discussed their next course of action and decided to leave for the Azure Tree Lower Realm, not because they wanted to see if the Minor Realm was found or not but because the Azure Tree Lower Realm was one of the most terrifying realms in the Third Layer.

There was only a small clan of Azure Trees, each one more powerful than the last and their ruler was a Late Stage Empyrean level existence who never bothered to leave to the Upper Realm as though content with their life. They happened to hate outside interference, so the population was less and Heaven"s Warriors wouldn"t be able to strut off their authority regularly.

The Azure Tree Lower Realm was also at a great distance from the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm, so if they could leave the encirclement here and find a sanctuary there with Stella"s powers, then they could essentially evade the search and even travel to and fro if they needed to.

The only problem was— would Stella be able to handle such a long distance teleportation?

They didn"t know but they would know as they made their journey to the Azure Tree Lower Realm.

The crowd cleared and they returned to their chambers in the Nine Immortal Ordeal Palace to make their preparations.

Davis was alone in his chamber.

The others were also trying to learn this technique as fast as possible. Mingzhi was also giving them a cla.s.s on disguises and survival techniques in case they got separated.

A day pa.s.sed and his door was suddenly pushed open with force.

Isabella came storming in, looking all needy and embarra.s.sed as she looked at him with eyes full of blame.

Davis wanted to say no but looking at her expression looking as though it was going to cry, he exhaled.

He abruptly appeared before her side, holding her wrist, "Feelings don"t care about that, right?"

Davis was shocked to see her being this pa.s.sionate. However, he soon saw two pairs of eyes peek from the doors of the chamber.

At that moment, he knew Evelynn and s.h.i.+rley had put Isabella up to this by hoodwinking her. He guessed they probably invoked her affection for him and set it ablaze using all kinds of tactics and his poor Isabella who was usually the most prideful and wouldn"t beg even if she was almost at her limit fell into their trap.

Perhaps she wanted to fall.

However, Davis"s pa.s.sionate emotions were also set ablaze.

There was no need to say how much he missed the three of them ever since they left for the Candidacy, so once they were back, he controlled himself to the utmost of his ability but it naturally fell to a single attack!
