The Wedding Day

In the heart of Exquisite Paradise was an exquisite courtyard. It was precisely where the laughter was coming from.

A round table extravagantly made of jade was placed at the centre of the courtyard. The delightful Dragon s.h.i.+san, who was wearing a red robe, was at the table, with Lan Lingji sitting close to him. This couple was dressed in their wedding attire.

None of the people sitting around the couple was a stranger. These people were Han Yan, Tyrant, Yang Bufan, Yang Lang, Mo Wuqing, and Grandmaster Hao Ran, all of whom were deeply acquainted with Jiang Chen. Today, all of them had gathered together because of Dragon s.h.i.+san’s wedding tomorrow. The only one missing at the table was Jiang Chen.

“Tyrant, why are the words of the monks so unpleasant to hear? No wonder you can’t find a wife. You know, I would supposedly wear this attire only tomorrow, but you guys forced me to wear it today, making as though the wedding ceremony is happening today.”

Dragon s.h.i.+san constantly stroke his clothes while speaking. Judging from his fondness towards his attire, it didn’t seem like he was forced to wear the wedding attire at all.

“Monkey, you sure are lucky to find such a beautiful wife, considering the fact that you have just leaped out from the rock not long ago.” Han Yan spoke with a hint of irritation.

“Of course, because Master Monkey is just too handsome. If the few of you have a tenth of my looks, you would have found your concubines long ago.”

Dragon s.h.i.+san blurted. His eyes couldn’t help but look at a far distance. He was really hoping that Jiang Chen would show up as tomorrow was the most important day of his life. It would be incomplete if his most important brother wasn’t present on his most important day.

“Jiang Chen may have important things to attend to.” Lan Lingji consoled, knowing how important Jiang Chen was to Dragon s.h.i.+san.

“I have a feeling that Little Chen will show up tomorrow. Monkey, don’t worry about it. We have known Little Chen for a very long time. He always appears at the most critical moment.” Tyrant added. They all knew what Dragon s.h.i.+san was feeling right now.

“It’s okay. Even if he doesn’t come. He can make up for it next time.” Dragon s.h.i.+san smiled.

“By the way, Monkey, you seem to have been at war against the Immortal Court during this period of time. I heard that some peerless genius of the Immortal Court is on his way to fight you,” said Yang Lang.
