Chapter 6039: Why Did You Save Me?

“Take her back to Enigma and protect her until she becomes an emperor. Six-style will come with me to Five-element City.” Li Qiye ordered Minisun.

“As you wish, Young n.o.ble.” Minisun bowed, ecstatic to receive a command from Li Qiye.

Healing Six-style was one thing, but it sounded as if he was on their side regardless of his actual ident.i.ty.

“Thank you for this, Young n.o.ble.” Demon Moon regained her wits and thanked him.

Reaching this level was hard enough due to the constant threat from Immortal Suppression. They would never let her become an emperor but with the help of Enigma, it greatly boosted her chance.

“We’ll be going once Six-style improves.” He told Unrivalled Monarch.

“I will prepare for the trip. However, I cannot follow you since Splendor Terra requires my presence.” Unrivalled bowed and said with a tinge of regret.

“It’s fine because this might just be the beginning, Immortal Suppression will come knocking soon.” Li Qiye smiled and waved.

“I’ll be waiting.” Her eyes gleamed with antic.i.p.ation. It wasn’t unreasonable to consider Immortal Suppression as the mastermind behind the attack.

Splendor Terra focused on trading and money with no intention of feuding against anyone, especially the great dynasties. However, Immortal Suppression and Phantom nearly destroyed them today. Retribution was inevitable regardless of the difference in strength.

Meanwhile, Saber Moon was preoccupied with guessing Li Qiye’s ident.i.ty. He looked like a mortal from all angles but Minisun, a seven-fruit emperor, obeyed all of Li Qiye’s commands.

As for Unrivalled Monarch, she was clearly above the apex level. Those stronger than her in Sin could be counted on one hand. Alas, the dreadful cultivator looked as obedient as a maid when standing near Li Qiye.

This confused Saber Moon and she came up with numerous answers for his ident.i.ty. Alas, she didn’t dare to inquire further.

A gentle breeze brought a refres.h.i.+ng coolness beneath the blue sky and drifting clouds. Great rivers stretched like dragons and solitary peaks pierced the sky just like the ma.s.sive trees. Wondrous beasts and birds inhabited the area…

This was a land full of potential and freedom. Visitors couldn’t help feeling refreshed and invigorated by the sight before them.

A divine carriage forged from mysterious dark iron sped through s.p.a.ce. Nevertheless, the trip was somehow silent and free from turbulence, allowing the pa.s.sengers to enjoy the gentle breezes.

It appeared ordinary but the core had been refined by powerful emperors and fueled by imperial refined jades. It operated like a mobile fortress that couldn’t be breached by common means.

The driver was a female mortal. Since it was fueled by refined jades, even mortals could operate it.

Calling her a peerless beauty was no exaggeration. Laying eyes upon her meant having their breath taken away. She was dressed in a faint yellow robe and a sash tied around her slender waist with loose ends. Her smooth, fair skin was exquisite like a captivating work of art.

Despite being a mortal, she possessed an innate air of royalty. It was not overbearing but still commanded respect. She didn’t sit on a dragon throne found in mortal kingdoms but rather, a throne up in the air to observe the world. This transcendent aura was unique and shouldn’t be found in a mortal.

She was none other than Six-style Emperor of Enigma. Alas, her fruits and dao were shattered so she had to start over again.

The other pa.s.senger was Li Qiye who looked relaxed as he watched the clouds drifting by. The breeze soothed him into a nap.

This carriage was a top treasure prepared by Unrivalled Monarch. It kept Six-style safe from most emperors and desolate G.o.ds as the duo headed for Five-element City.

A mortal like her should have returned to Enigma but Li Qiye insisted that she tagged along.

“Why did you save me, Young n.o.ble?” She appeared gentle and serene; her aura was subtle yet pervasive. Every moment was graceful and pleasant.

“Because everyone asked, I didn’t mind.” Li Qiye smiled.

“I think there is more to it.” She said after thinking about it.

“Attribute it to fate if you want.” Li Qiye said: “Why did you protect the Liu Clan?”

“Young n.o.ble, the truth is that I respect their founder and most importantly, their clan and mine both originated from an ancient lineage.” She told the truth.

“Sounds about right, an ancient dao lineage or a dynasty.” Li Qiye said.

“You already knew, Young n.o.ble?” She became surprised.
