Feng Yin Tian Xia

Chapter 33

Chapter 33

The Silver Masked Ashura’s name in Liang Province is known by everyone. Not only is a hero on the battlefield, but a graceful youth. His death had caused a severe fluctuation among the city and had also broken the many hearts of young females.

Today, Hua Zhu Yu’s sudden appearance on the execution platform was like the addition of firewood to the boiling water; the situation became even more chaotic. Many people yelled as they pushed forward. They naturally wanted to see if this was the real Silver Masked Ashura.

Hua Zhu Yu did not stop. She landed in front of Hua Mu and with a flick of her sword, the hand of the still frozen executioner landed on the ground. The sharp sword cut open the ropes. Hua Zhu Yu lifted up Hua Mu and then handed him to Pin the First.

The whole happening was like a thunderbolt.

The officials of the Board of Punishments yelled loudly: “Quickly catch them! Quickly catch them!”

Hua Zhu Yu looked back and saw that within the chaos, Ji Feng Li was still quietly sitting there. He didn’t seem to have any shock or anger, in fact, his lips even carried a slight smile. He was light the cool moon in the night. No matter how the wind blew, he would not move. This type of att.i.tude let Hua Zhu Yu think of that att.i.tude he had on the battlefield that day. It was obviously chaos which he had caused, yet he was still acting leisurely. This let Hua Zhu Yu not help but become angry.

Originally, she had planned not to do anything to him today as her most important mission was saving people, however, scenes from her memory flashed in front of her eyes. The cry of Jin Se before he death, that desolate blood marks on the white snow made her unable to resist. She could use the chaos to pay back the debt. Else, she would never have such a good opportunity again.

In a moment, she jumped towards Ji Feng Li as she pulled her sword out of her sheath.

The chasing soldiers had not thought that not only did Hua Zhu Yu want to cause disaster upon the court but also to kill. They had originally thought she wanted the escape yet she had jumped towards Ji Feng Li. By the time they reacted, Hua Zhu Yu had already pa.s.sed over them and the tip of her sword was pointed at Ji Feng Li.

A clear gaze landed on Ji Feng Li. That gaze was cold as fire, haughty like a torch and carried disdain and contempt. It seemed to stab into his body like it was real.

Ji Feng Li lightly raised his eyes. He placidly looked at her. Just as Hua Zhu Yu was about to stab him, he moved. His movement obviously seemed to be slow yet graceful, however it was like lightning. He dodged Hua Zhu Yu’s life-taking stab.

Hua Zhu Yu felt shock as she stared at him with disbelief. He again landed in the seat as he smiled at Hua Zhu Yu. His warm smile was like the flowing waters and the moonlight – calm and peaceful.

Hua Zhu Yu’s anger arose!

Even the sky knows how sharp her stab was, yet it had been dodged by him so easily. However, in the eyes of the other people, it seemed like he had dodged slowly. In that way, it made it seem like her sword skills were horrible.

She grit her teeth and her eyes sunk. Her jade hand was lifted up to attempt to stab him again, yet her opportunity was already lost. A group of guards surrounded Ji Feng Li in a fan-shaped formation as though they were facing a large group of enemies.

Knowing that she no longer had any opportunity left today, Hua Zhu Yu suddenly smiled. Her pair of water-like eyes were like the light breeze and clear moon.

“Ji Feng Li, benxiuluo will temporarily not take your life. Let us meet again!” Her voice was low while her tone of voice was very light yet it held an extremely oppressive pressure. The soldiers protecting Ji Feng Li all felt a biting cold murderous aura.

Ji Feng Li’s sparkling ink-colored eyes lightly looked at her. The corners of his lips lifted as he lazily said: “Benxiang can meet you at any time.”

“Release the arrows! Quickly release the arrows and kill that saboteur!” Someone ordered loudly.

At that moment, the arrows -like locusts – covered the sky as they all shot towards Hua Zhu Yu.

Although Hua Zhu Yu wore armor around her white battle robe, however, it wasn’t capable of covering her whole body. She hastily circulated her true energy to protect her body, while using her sword to create of sword circle that emitted a cold light. She managed to deflect all the arrows.

Her white clothing danced, inky black hair fluttered in the wind like black satin. Beside her was the opaque rain of arrows seemed like the falling flowers in March. This dense rain of arrows with other people would be a lethal weapon, yet with her, it seemed like a gorgeous background. Everything seemed like a ink painting, while only she was the most concentrated and colorful stroke.

Her cold eyes swept over the execution ground. Some of the generals to be executed had been saved, however the majority had been unable to be saved. It would be hard for them to escape their fate of execution.

Every vibrant life, every loyal and patriotic heart had now become cold corpses.

Hua Zhu Yu’s cold eyes congealed. Her long sword – as though it was taking a leisurely stroll – glided past swords and the rain of arrows.

The white robe slowly became stained with blood making it seem like flowing white and flying red. Ink-colored hair became bloodstained and brought along scarlet blood as it hung at the waist.

With her austere murderous look, she truly looked like h.e.l.l’s Ashura.

It was beautiful yet also bloodthirsty.

The current Hua Zhu Yu with that kind of soul-stirring aura, caused some soldiers to be so stunned that they temporarily forget how to move. However, in the next moment, the blade of a knife were pulled out of their bodies.

A couple tens of orphan army soldiers followed closely behind Hua Zhu Yu also killing the soldiers preventing them from leaving.

One of the rooms to the side of the execution ground was suddenly lit on fire. Because of the fire, the archers whom had originally been hiding behind the roofs of the houses shooting arrows, all yelled as they flipped down from the roofs. The scene was even more chaotic. Taking advantage of this chaos, Hua Zhu Yu brought the orphan army members with her and killed out a blood path.

(killing soldiers to make way for an escape route)

Courtyard Full of Spring.

A large fire had already began burning. The observers now soaked their robes with water as they covered their noses and mouths. And -like ants on a frying pan – they escaped in all directions.

In the room on the second floor, smoke gradually filled the room. The room which had originally had fragrant smell now only smelt of smoke.

Xiao Yin stood by the window. His large figure – in the smoke – seemed hazy. The profile of his polished face had also been enveloped by layers of smoke. The only thing that could be seen clearly was his pair of purple eyes which emanated distinguished coldness. The pair of eyes stared intensely at the execution ground. As he motionlessly stood there, he seemed like an exquisite sculpture, except he also seemed a little ghastly.

The couple of bodyguards all worriedly circled around, not knowing what to do, but not wanting to disturb him. Finally Hui Xue couldn’t stand it anymore said: “Your highness, the fire is about to reach the second floor. We need to leave quickly! I think Dan Hong will not come, and besides, Hua Mu has already been saved.”

When Xiao Yin heard, he finally turned around and his gaze lightly swept over Hui Xue. His purple as were unfathomable as he softly said: “Who said I was waiting for her?”

Although his voice was soft, however it contained a chill that could pierce through bones.

Hui Xue immediately fell into silence but couldn’t help but feel chills down her spine.

“Or maybe she had already arrived.” His voice carried laziness as though it was just simply a casual statement yet it also seemed to carry meaning.

Everyone all felt it strange, but followed Xiao Yin as they left the tea shop.
