Chapter 1001: In his embrace, Yan Su’s brain became fuzzy
After dinner, Yan Su washed her hands at the sink.
A lot of oil had gotten in-between her fingers, so she washed seriously.
Suddenly, a warm body pressed against hers from behind.
Her body trembled and she looked up. In the mirror, she saw that Mo Liuxi had appeared behind her without making a sound. His arms reached around her waist and gently grabbed her hands that were still rinsing off under the running water.
“What you are doing?” She couldn’t believe this. He was completely hugging her from behind.
Mo Liuxi’s head bent down to rest beside her ear, his lips close to her as he laughed quietly. “You’re my guest. I have to help to wash my guest’s hand thoroughly.”
“Thank you, but no thanks. Let go of me now.” Yan Su unsuccessfully tried to pull her hand away. The closeness of his lips to her ear made her toes tingle.
Her small hands were enveloped inside his big ones. The water was falling onto both their hands. She was completely wrapped up in his chest. Her nostrils were filled with his scent. Yan Su was so nervous that her breathing became uneven.
“See, your hand was scratched by the mantis prawns in so many spots.” Mo Liuxi’s fingers gently grazed her tiny injuries, his tone indulgent and captivating. “If you become my girlfriend, I’ll do all this sort of work for you. Next time, my sister will be the one envious of you.”
“I wasn’t envious of her,” Yan Su quickly denied.
But when she raised her eyes, her gaze collided with his black eyes. His eyes seemed as if they could look straight through a person’s heart.
Her heart was thumping.
Mo Liuxi’s mouth curved as he washed each of her fingers carefully.
In his embrace, Yan Su’s brain became fuzzy. Her body felt hot all over as he washed her fingers for… who knew how long.
When he finally let her go, he said softly, “After my sister goes to sleep for the night, I’ll bring supper for you.” He turned away to do the dishes.
Both of Yan Su’s legs felt soft as she walked away from the sink.
Luosang glanced at her. “Susu, why is your face so red?”
“Is it?” Yan Su’s heart skipped a beat. “Maybe it’s because I’m too hot. I’ll go back to shower first.”
“Alright.”
After she left, Luosang opened her WeChat moments. Many people had replied to her post.
A Pretty Orchid: “Sangsang, I can make all of these, too, but you never posted it on WeChat moments. Are you unhappy with my cooking?”
Nianxi: “Ahhh, sister-in-law, why didn’t you invite me over? Please G.o.d, give me a younger brother like this, I don’t want an elder brother like that.”
Xiao Si: “Liuxi is amazing.”
Mo Jin: “Now I miss my son’s cooking a little.”
Xu Zhengxuan replied to Mo Jin: “I’ll cook for you.”
Nian Junting: “Come back immediately.”
Luosang snorted and replied to everyone except Nian Junting.
After she was done, she posted on WeChat moments: “My brother peeled so many mantis prawns for me. I feel so blessed.”
…
After seeing the post, Nian Junting threw his phone away.
He hurriedly called Sister Lan over and threw a tantrum. “Look at what others have made. Why have you never thought of cooking mantis prawns?”
Sister Lan felt wronged. “I did suggest it, but you were the one who said that if I buy mantis prawns, you would definitely be made to peel them again. It is too much of a ha.s.sle, so you told me not to.”
Nian Junting was stunned for a moment. “Nonsense, am I that sort of person?”
Sister Lan looked at him quietly without saying anything.
Nian Junting coughed lightly under her stare. “I might have said it, but it must have been because work was too tiring at the time. Call Luosang now and tell her that you would make mantis prawns for her so she will come back quickly. Mo Liuxi is only a kid, how would he know how to take care of a pregnant lady?”
