Chapter 1051: There Are So Many Girls Giving you Gifts, You Don’t Need Mine
Yan Su was stunned.
Didn’t s.h.i.+ Xiang just explain this to her over text?
She didn’t think much about it. She hadn’t expected his fans to post it online.
She didn’t know how she felt about the matter.
She felt a little repulsed. She felt as if she’d been enjoying some salmon before someone told her that it was contaminated with parasites.
Jiaojiao said agitatedly, “I saw it clearly for myself, his a.s.sistant didn’t even hold him back. He had countless opportunities to step forward but he didn’t. Is there a point in him speaking up about this only when Director Li and Ji Nuanyi quit the project?”
“Forget it.” Yan Su was calm. she was surprised by her own reaction. “He can say whatever he wants.”
Jiaojiao said, “You have a soft heart.”
“If not, what will I do? Argue with him online? He would hire an entire online army to drown me.” Yan Su sighed. “I think we should stay the same as before and stay out of gossip. Look, there were so many celebrities there last night, yet n.o.body said anything about him.”
Jiaojiao sighed. “That’s true.”
After school, the bodyguard was waiting for her. He was there to escort her home because of the media attention she was receiving due to the events from the night before.
When she walked past the sheltered walkway, she saw Mo Liuxi sitting on the steps, surrounded by a bunch of girls who were there to confess to him.
She frowned. There were so many girls. Thank goodness Zhang Hongchuan was there to block them in case Mo Liuxi’s arm got hurt.
When she was back at the apartment, Yan Su waited about ten minutes before Mo Liuxi emerged from the elevator.
Yan Su looked at his hands. He wasn’t carrying anything. There was just a simple black backpack on his back.
“What are you looking at?” Mo Liuxi raised his brows when he caught her stare.
“Nothing. I saw a lot of girls gifting you with cards and things on my way back. Why didn’t you accept any of them?” Yan Su looked away quickly.
“Yeah, there were a lot of them. What are you planning to give me?” Mo Liuxi walked over to her slowly.
Yan Su was stunned.
It seemed like she wasn’t being nice. He’d saved her and she hadn’t even bought him any fruit.
“You are really too much,” Mo Liuxi complained. “All those people who have nothing to do with me are gifting me things. You haven’t gotten me anything.”
Yan Su pouted. “There are so many girls giving you gifts, you don’t need mine.”
“Who says?” Mo Liuxi whispered in her ear, “I need it. I don’t care for all of their gifts, I only want yours.”
Yan Su ears were red and hot and she scuttled further away. She felt warmed by his words and she asked, “What do you want then?”
“I want…” Mo Liuxi looked at her and smiled. “You.”
Yan Su blushed. “You hooligan.”
She pushed him away and tried to walk off but Mo Liuxi grabbed onto her. “I’m just joking. I want a belt.”
Yan Su wasn’t foolish, she knew that gifting ties and belts meant that the girl was trying to tie down the guy forever.
“Must it be a belt?” Yan Su frowned.
“It can be a tie as well.” Mo Liuxi grinned.
Could he be more obvious?
“Alright,” she finally said as she tucked her hair behind her ear. “Open the door. I’ll cook for you. I’m going to Hong Kong to record a show at seven.”
“Hmm, Hong Kong is good, they have many belts there.” Mo Liuxi nodded his head.
