I’ll Still Love You Even If You’re a Man

Chapter 32

***********************************************
The fuss ended after making compensations and apologies, but the car was repossessed by An Ziyan. What Mai Ding has now is bus fees.

Although school life is tiring, what Mai Ding looked forward to was going home. An Ziyan
always went home late, but every time he gets home, he would say "Have you
been waiting long?"

Mai Ding likes it, especially the warm feeling. At that time, he thought An Ziyan was very attractive.

One day, when Mai Ding finished doing the dishes, he lied on the sofa wearily I work hard everyday. I need to do everything when I get home. However, Mai Ding was willing to do that.

The sound of piano was heard. There were three rooms in the house. One was for Mai Ding, so
he can enjoy movies. One was for An Ziyan. That room was full of books and some instruments. Of course, the last room was for them. Mai Ding moved to the door quietly.

An Ziyan was playing the piano with his back on Mai Ding. The sun shined on An Ziyan"s back and his piano. Mai Ding was crazy about that picture. He couldn"t help but love him more than before. Mai Ding was dying of love for An Ziyan.

The beautiful music spread all over the house, which made everything become alive. At midnight, An Ziyan woke up from pain. He opened his eyes to find that something has been pressing on his arms and it tingled. It is Mai Ding"s head. Mai Ding looked uncomfortable seizing An Ziyan"s arms. An Ziyan frowned and moved Mai Ding"s head on his shoulders. Mai Ding was more comfortable than before. But An Ziyan"s arms still should keep a stable position.

The next day, the clock"s alarm rung at 6AM. Mai Ding stood from the bed because of the alarm. "What time is it? We might be late for school." He stepped on An Ziyan"s arms. He gave  grunt because of the pain in his arms.

"Are you okay?"

"Do you think so?" An Ziyan said in an angry tone.

"I didn"t mean it. Why did you put your arms there?"

"Someone"s head was pressing on me, so heavy."

"Was it me? You could"ve pushed me away."

"Why do you think I didn"t do it? I did it more than once, but you didn"t wake up at all." An Ziyan lied.

"You hit me while I was sleeping? You are so bad. Why can"t you be gentle? Serves you right for your arms!"

"You are asking for death now."

Mai Ding jumped out of the bed and ran out of bedroom. When he was about to make breakfast, he saw a person in the kitchen. He almost screamed. A thief? Mai Ding took out a knife, pointing to the person. "Who are you?"

The person turned back. She was a middle-aged woman with motherly-look. She was around 40 years old. She looked at Mai Ding. "I am the new housemaid here, and I live next to you. Are you Mai Ding? You can call me Auntie Yuan. Breakfast is ready."

Auntie Yuan"s home was next to their"s. She was often bored at home, so she volunteered to be here when she learned that they needed a housemaid. Auntie Yuan put the breakfast on the table. Mai Ding was surprised and he rushed back into bedroom. "Why didn"t you inform me about "that"? I didn"t prepare for it at all."

An Ziyan was wearing cloches. "You keep complaining every day."

"You know that?"

"I"m not deaf." Mai Ding complained everyday. It was hard to bear with

"But what can I do if there is a housemaid?"

"You do have a sense of your own worth. A housekeeper."

"You--" Mai Ding couldn"t deny it.

Although he was complaining about it, he wanted An Ziyan to realize his importance and that he can be of good use to him. Auntie Yuan was just an accident. What he did was in vain. But on the other hand, he won"t have to waste his time and could be treated like a master. He could always take it easy.

When he was outside their home, he found out that he forgot some books. He didn"t want to go back in, so he called out to An Ziyan, who was on the second floor. "An Ziyan, come out."

"What"s the fuss this morning?" An Ziyan threw the books to Mai Ding before Mai Ding could say anything.

Mai Ding picked up the books and murmured. "I"m afraid you couldn"t hear me, so I called you out loudly." He then waved his hands to An Ziyan. "Well, I"m going to school now." He left, skipping, as he disappeared from An Ziyan"s sight. Meanwhile, An Ziyan felt as if Mai Ding was his son.

After having meals, An Ziyan was going to go out, but he told Auntie Yuan. "Please don"t put pa.r.s.ely or bitter melon in any of the dishes."

They lived a different life, in different schools.

Mai Ding was still quiet and no one notices him.

An Ziyan was always popular among people, especially among women. It was said that he has a girlfriend, which made other women so sad. That news came from Li Ming.

Mai Ding was proud of An Ziyan, for he was popular among women. Although An Ziyan was often stand-offish, he went against many women who show his love to him. You are so charming that I will always love you forever. I don"t care about how others think of you.

It was midnight, and again, An Ziyan woke up for the same reason. He dealt with it the same way, but then, Mai Ding opened his eyes. He just wanted to see what An Ziyan would do to him, but he saw An Ziyan just doing these gentle things to him.

"I got you!" It was so scary that Mai Ding opened his eyes in the midnight. Then he fastened himself on An Ziyan. "You were so cute while doing that to me."

He shouldn"t have used cute to describe An Ziyan.

An Ziyan put his feet on Mai Ding"s stomach, then kicked him out hardly with a poker-face.

Mai Ding rolled down the bed.
