Master of the End Times

Chapter 894: A-tier Marshal

Chapter 894: A-tier Marshal

They were too shaken by Qin Feng’s power. Even Voodoo Lord had left in fear, there was no way for them to work up the courage to try to poke into Qin Feng’s true ident.i.ty.

Qin Feng raised a finger and took away a ring from He Tianxing using his consciousness. After acquiring what he wanted, Qin Feng took a huge leap and vanished into thin air.

Fire Phoenix did not notice that Qin Feng was already gone. After kneeling for five whopping minutes, she finally realized something was off. She then raised her head and saw that Qin Feng had already left. All that was left in front of her was He Tianxing’s lifeless body.

“This… This Black Alp Overlord is too powerful. When he left, I did not sense his departure at all. He is a really terrifying man indeed!”

Upon hearing Fire Phoenix’s words, the others could not help but feel astounded.

“Then… Fire Phoenix… what do we do now?”

“Yeah! Do we do as he said?”

Phoenix too was feeling conflicted about this. Thankfully, He Tianxing was feeling extra cautious this time when he wanted to deal with Voodoo Lord. As such, he had brought seven A-tiers with him—which was one-third of the powerful users from the Dark Citadel. With this many A-tiers with her, they should be enough to be her witness.

“Of course. We’ll do as he said and business will run as usual. We should also aim to make profits too. Or else… Black Alp Overlord might come back and claim our lives. When we head back later, it might be better for us to keep this all a secret… let’s not tell the world and the others that He Tianxing is dead. We’ll wait until Black Alp Overlord wants to reveal himself to the world; then, we’ll tell everyone!”

“Good plan!”

“We’ll follow your lead then, woman!”

“Yeah! I suppose this is the best way to handle this!”

After agreeing to the plan, everyone took a glance at He Tianxing’s corpse.

After taking a short ponder, Phoenix decided to cremate He Tianxing body and bury his ashes in the ground. Luckily, Qin Feng only took a ring from He Tianxing’s body—he did not take all the spatial rune equipment that he had on him. As such, Fire Phoenix took them down and divided them among her colleagues. After receiving the loot, these men would most likely lean more toward her from now on when there was any decision-making in the Dark Citadel.

“Black Alp Overlord must be someone who’s extremely wealthy! All he took was just a ring. There are so many more treasures on He Tianxing but he did not touch them at all!”

As Fire Phoenix and her men were lamenting about the mysteries around “Black Alp Overlord”, Qin Feng was standing on a cliff about ten thousand meters away from them, carefully looking at the ring that he took from He Tianxing’s corpse.

The ring was in fact a spatial rune equipment, which held a lot more treasures in it.

“Huh, he is indeed the master of the Dark Citadel! He’s got so many goodies in here!”

He Tianxing’s collection was about on par with the Dragon-borne’s. However, Dragon-borne tended to collect any s.h.i.+ny stones or gems—this meant that many of their collections were mostly impractical in Qin Feng’s eyes. Thus, he gave most of the Dragon-borne’s treasures to Bai Li.

However, He Tianxing’s spatial rune equipment had a lot of stuff that Qin Feng found quite useful. Not only that, Qin Feng could feel that he had grown even stronger from a.s.sa.s.sinating He Tianxing.

‘If I can take on an S-tier now, that means that I might as well visit that realm when I have the time.’ Qin Feng thought to himself.

After this, Qin Feng quickly headed back to Dragon Capital. No one, not even Long Ting, knew about He Tianxing’s demise that night. No one knew that the leader of the biggest organization in the Huaxia region’s Dark Coalition had died!

The next day, Qin Feng was summoned to receive his badge. In fact, other than Qin Feng, the people who helped in arranging the retreat and the fighters who held off the enemies until the last minute had all received a badge to their names.

Of course, Qin Feng was the one who received the highest honor—a badge of honor that granted him the t.i.tle of a Marshal. The badge was delicately decorated; there was a letter “A” grafted on it. Even though it was not an “S”, it would not take much time before Qin Feng received one—when he really ascended to S-tier.

Of course, this was the first time the Huaxia Alliance had an A-tier marshal.

To be honest, Qin Feng’s status was now much higher than Shang Han’s.

Still, Shang Han was no subordinate to Qin Feng because both of them belonged to entirely different chains of command. What made this “marshal” t.i.tle even more unique was that it brought Qin Feng a great deal of wealth and privileges but minimal amount of clear-cut responsibilities.

Long Ting had only one task for Qin Feng.

“I believe you can take on an A-tier beast deity now. Take this—it’s the list that details every A-tier beast deity in the Huaxia region. I want you to eliminate one beast deity every year. Just one will do!” Long Ting sent a list to Qin Feng via her communicator.

Qin Feng did not reject the task. He could benefit from it a lot. More importantly, Bai Li needed more crystal cores to keep on ascending; this meant that Qin Feng would eventually need to hunt down these ultra beasts too.

“Good.”

Long Ting nodded at Qin Feng. She was quite surprised to see how much Qin Feng had grown in such a short time. She was now certain that she made the right call to visit Fengli back then.

“Perhaps one day you’ll become an Immortal. No one is able to get close to the level of Immortal. I hope that you’ll rise to become one in the near future. If you need anything, please do let the Alliance know.” Long Ting said.

“I will.”

After a few exchanges of words, they both hung up. Qin Feng then brought the Northern Region’s prodigies onto an aircraft.

Despite how chaotic the attack was, most people in Dragon Capital thought that it was just a ma.s.sive attack launched by the ultra beasts. After all, even the S-tiers had come out and fought.

“Hey, Qin Feng! You partic.i.p.ated in that defense too? What badge is that? I’ve not seen it before!” Zhou Hao and Lu Meng approached Qin Feng when they saw his badge.

Qin Feng smiled warmly. “This is a Marshall Badge. I suppose it’s the same rank as Long Yue’s.”

Zhou Hao and the others’ jaws were rolling on the ground upon hearing this.

Still, it was not too difficult for them to believe it too. After all, Qin Feng was indeed really powerful. It was not unthinkable for him to receive a badge of honor like that.

Then, Zhou Hao and the others started to discuss the technology that they had acquired from the Perished Lands. Although they did not know what these technologies would do for them, they were rea.s.sured that they would receive 5% of the earnings from these technologies.

“Wow! If I find a weapon there, wouldn’t that make me a billionaire?!”

“Ha! I’ll tell you what! I’ve found an airs.h.i.+p this time!”

“So what? It’s difficult to find a buyer who would buy an airs.h.i.+p. I’d say that you’d earn more if you find just a communicator.”

The young users happily and joyfully discussed their findings, unaware just what kind of calamity that had befallen on them earlier.

Qin Feng, on the other hand, had begun to relax. He felt as though thousands and thousands of tons of weight had been lifted off of his shoulders.

“Heh, young people! Well, it’s alright. The less you know, the less your worry!” Qin Feng smiled as he looked at the robo-dog.

The biggest winner in this expedition was Qin Feng himself!

He did not only acquire the Dark Armor but also all the technology that came with the robo-dog. These discoveries would surely rock the world.
