Chapter 2506 Seha
"Retreat!"
The High Grandmasters fighting both sides shouted, and with that, the huge battle instantly stopped, and people began to separate.
I could see a look of disappointment on Sarah and the two Grandmasters" faces as they separated. They had been fighting for more than an hour and still looked more disappointed than I should feel?
I not only did not get to fight but also been asked not to kill any Grandmaster; I had the trigger in hand, and if I wished, I could have killed them all. All of them, including the two Initial Grandmasters that Sarah was fighting, but I was asked not to.
"You have grown very quickly; last time I had seen you, you were not even a Grandmaster, and now, you are talking back to a High Grandmaster," said Lord Da, as he appeared beside me.
"It was just bravado, Lord Da, nothing more," I replied, and he smiled.
"You should be careful, especially with threatening," He advised. "I will be careful," I replied to which he nodded.
Lord Da was one of the early Grandmasters I had head when I was just an elite with Masters strength. He was a peak Grandmaster and made a breakthrough to High Grandmaster within a month of waking up.
He was planning to make a breakthrough, but Grimms had attacked him, and he had been forced to sleep in the hall of sleep and woken up by Grandmaster Charline more than five decades later and me.
I was talking with the Grandmaster Da when a woman who looked to be in her early forties came flying toward me.
"Grandmaster Zaar, thank you for saving me; without your help, I wouldn"t be here," She said as she tried to bow, but I stopped her before she could. I could not let her bow to me, given the relations.h.i.+p she had with me, or rather she had with my mother.
"Grandmaster Seha, I did what anyone in my position do," I said, and a complicated smile appeared on her face. "Anna had brought you up well; if rose had been alive today, she would have been very proud of you too," She said.
Hearing that, a little awkward smile couldn"t help but appear on my face. She was a very good friend of rose, the wife of my mother who died thirty years ago, and one of few people my mother had remained in contact with after moving out of the central continent.
"You have injured yourself, Grandmaster Seha; give me your hand," I said; she had not only injured but also overexerted herself and would take time if she were to heal her on her own.
She gave me her hand without hesitation; I took her hand, and hundreds of tiny strings pierced her through my hand. It was slightly painful but nothing she could not bear.
It took a few seconds for my strings to spread into her body before thick healing energy and herbal essence, which came directly from my core, began to spread inside her.
Ever since the project began, I have nearly stopped healing. I only healed the emergency patients that others couldn"t deal with and the people in the hall of sleep, where now, only three people have remained.
While I had stopped healing, my skills have improved tremendously.
I now have hundreds of subjects on whom I could research to my heart"s content and the data they provide on a daily basis. Not to mention my research and an immense amount of books I am reading; all of it has improved my healing by leaps and bounds.
Twenty-six seconds later, I took out my string, and now considerable change had occurred. Her pale brown skin had become ruddy, and her aura also had stabilities; her serious injuries are also rapidly healing and should be finished healing within a few minutes.
"You should be recovered to your peak within half an hour," I said as I released her hand from mine while she looked at me in wonder.
"Anna is really lucky to have a son like you," she said after a moment. "I am lucky to have her as my mother, and my father is no less amazing," I replied, to which she smiled. "You do have scholarly like your father," she said.
We talked as we entered the fort. I directly went to the infirmary where I healed those who were in serious danger; whether it was King or Tyrant, I healed those who were in danger before I went to a conference room where the big meeting was happening.
The whole projection of the council is there; there are also three peak Grandmaster, two High Grandmaster, Sarah, and of course, councilman Sigh.
"Council, you should have given me permission; we have suffered a huge loss today," I said, and my tone was a little angry; I am angry.
We have lost two Grandmasters, and so is Grimm Monsters, which is a huge loss seeing they have more than double the number of Grandmasters.
"Grandmaster Micheal, you killing all of them would have led to huge consequences; there was a huge chance that it might have erupted into something big, and we are not ready for it, at least yet," said Grand Commander.
"Still," I said a little softly.
I understood their reason for restraint, but I really wanted to kill those b.a.s.t.a.r.ds.
"The council understands what you are feeling but have patience," Grand Commander said before she turned toward others who were hearing the conversation with shocked faces. Even High Grandmasters like Lord Da and Lord Fisher were shocked to hear it.
"The numbers in today"s battle should not be surprising," said Grand Commander before stopping for a moment.
"For the past four months, the Grimms are consistently increasing the number of Grandmasters on the battlefield,"
"The infusion is steady and likely to continue. So, I hope you make preparation, Grandmaster Vargas; coming days would not be easy," She gave the grim warning, which made expressions of the commander of gardas fortress.
She did not like what she heard; n.o.body in her position would.
