Overlord In Cultivation

Chapter 99

Zu Yan’s punch created a deafening and astounding sound.

However, to people’s astonishment, the tattered bronze tripod remained absolutely still in midair! The sinister laughter of Tie Baocai penetrated the air, shocking all those present. How dare Tie Baocai talk to Zu Yan like that?

Liu Chentian and some other people wanted to laugh out loud as they recognized Tie Baocai by its pandlike look. Unlike what Liu Chentian remembered, the slothful, clumsy panda was now much more agile.

“How is that possible? What kind of treasure is that tripod? It’s already tattered so badly yet it’s still so formidable!”

Some people gasped in astonishment because they noticed that Zu Yan’s fist was bleeding with cracked bones as if it had just hit an actual star!

“Son of a b.i.t.c.h!” growled Zu Yan out of extreme fury with his eyes filled with blood streaks. Never had he ever suffered such a humiliation in public, even the Star was taken away under his very eyes!

To his amazement, the shabby bronze tripod was able to suppress the energy of the Star, which made Zu Yan covet and crave. He wondered what level this treasure was?

“Boom!”

“Boom!”

Su Yan drew the tripod back in no time for his blood was connected with it. Then in a flash, this supreme tripod appeared in front of him.

“Done, let’s roll!” urged Tie Baocai as he neatly rolled its a.s.s out of the tripod for it had sensed clearly Zu Yan’s fury which was like a dissatisfied housewife’s anger that had been brewed and acc.u.mulated for a thousand years.

Zu Yan didn’t succeed in taking the tripod but the momentum of his palm cracked the earth wide open for thousands of meters long and shook the sky dome greatly!

Under the stunned eyes of all, Su Yan and Tie Baocai rushed crazily to get away from this underground palace.

Su Yan still wanted to take a look at what else treasures were inside this grand palace. The Star was only an important treasure to stabilize the palace. It wouldn’t take a Charlotte Holmes to figure out that there were treasures even more dreadful than the Star.

However, Tie Baocai raced so quickly like a rabbit, which made Su Yan realize that whatever in this place was by no means easy to take away.

“I command you to stop!”

Zu Yan furiously leapt up and pranced with purple lights emanating from his body. He stretched his hand and the divine power inside him permeated out, forming a big violet palm seal in the void!

It was an amazing blow. The violet palm seal, huge as a mountain, pressed down, shrouding the sky and sheltering the sun.

Tie Baocai looked back dilatorily, with eyes full of tricks.

The bystanders faintly felt something wrong since Liu Chentian and his companions were fleeing desperately out as if encountering extreme danger. It was Su Yan who messaged them to run as fast as they could.

So without hesitation, Liu Chentian led his people out promptly.

“Boom!”

All of a sudden, the whole underground palace started to shake madly. The nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine steps crumbled one by one!

It seemed to be the missing of the Star that caused the sinking.

Now the giant palace looked like a divine temple hanging in the air with an intimidating and royal aura. Only faint wisps of supreme aura of destroying everything flew out from the palace.

As this wisp of aura got out, the giant palace trembled violently and people near the palace suffered unbearable pain all over their bodies.

“Get out of here!”

Others who witnessed what happened s.h.i.+vered in fear, nearly paralyzed to the ground.

This scene of horror was like a fierce ancient beast awakening from long dormancy. The aura, like a primordial dragon, made Zu Yan both startled and thrilled!

In front of this supreme aura, Zu Yan gave up chasing after Su Yan. He could tell that the treasure hidden here was something that the Star could not even compete with.

Everybody fled for their lives madly!

“What the h.e.l.l is in the palace?” Su Yan was tempted. He sensed the awakening of an invincible origin of power that could shake the cosmos, which petrified him. How horrible that treasure was!

“It is a dreadful treasure! But we cannot take it now!” Tie Baocai wanted to have it, too. But he knew that it was something they were not capable of taking, he didn’t want to risk his life for it.

“Boom!”

The quake was getting more horrifying. The whole palace trembled so greatly that it seemed to collapse!

“What kind of treasure is that? How is it so powerful?”

“Is it a divine weapon?”

“It is more of a divine troop for me.”

The grand palace was getting more and more splendid like a heavenly temple with resplendent and bright light gus.h.i.+ng out from the gate.

People running wildly was dumbfounded. How crazy was that weapon?

The next moment Zu Yan had a desperate heartache as he watched numerous legendary weapons shattering spontaneously. The aura was so deadly that it destroyed tremendous treasures and weapons during the awakening!

Along with the shattered weapons and treasures flying all over came billowy dragon roars.

Two invincible implements revived spontaneously which were full of divinity as if they had developed free wills. Shooting out from the palace, they unleashed so formidable the momentum that it shook the whole starry sky.

“Oh G.o.d! Guys, look! Look!”

While running away, they saw a bronze chariot of the size of a palm flying out, it was so glittering and translucent that it seemed to be forged by holy bronze and iron.

The moment it left the palace, it enlarged quickly with a loud “boom” and energy waves trembling the void!

The bronze chariot was so stunning like a newly-formed planet, the momentum spurting out from it made the universe rumble. It even distorted the s.p.a.ce while racing spontaneously in the void.

“Buzz!”

Another treasure was a bronze sword, which had been sealed in the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor for thousands of years, but it was still dazzling as new. Over the sword body engraved intricate dragon patterns.

To their astonishment, the bronze sword wasn’t single. There were nine swords actually each with dragon pattern on its body, which was like Nine Dragon Swords, sharp and terrifying even mightier than the bronze chariot!

These two weapons flew out from the palace straightly, which made Tie Baocai longing, “Weapons of Law! Two Weapons of Law!”

“s.h.i.+t, I didn’t expect that!”

Tie Baocai was so regretful that he almost spewed blood. Zu Yan did not rush to retreat. Instead he revived himself and pranced toward the bronze chariot!

These were ownerless treasures. Zu Yan was powerful enough to control the bronze chariot. It was incomparable, a rarity made by the peerless overmatch! Even superior than legendary weapons.

“Kid, you have to let Lord Dragon out now, tell him to take these nine swords. I bet they are peerless treasures with terrible values greater than the bronze chariot!”

Tie Baocai’s heart was torn with anxiety. Now the giant palace was too dangerous for them to go back. They would be killed with their current cultivation.

Su Yan wanted it badly, too. After a quick thought, his whole body suddenly glowed.

As his spine heaved, a dragon column spurted out. Under the performance of Su Yan’s soul, the column was surrounded by supreme aura of real dragon!

The strong Dragon Totem had transferred the divinity into his instinct!

At the same time, the Nine Dragon Swords growled, resonating with Su Yan’s Qi.

“Get back here!” Zu Yan’s furious voice blew up. He understood well the mightiness of the Nine Dragon Swords, thus he decided to control the bronze chariot first and then used it to rein the Nine Dragon Swords.

However, it was too late. The swords flew right towards Su Yan with an incomparable fluctuation of energy.

“Hahaha!”

Su Yan laughed out loud, since the Nine Dragon Swords had arrived by his side, rotating around him. A resonance was produced between the swords and the real dragon Qi that Su Yan released.

Tie Baocai believed even more that Su Yan was the disciple of the real dragon. How else could he simulate the breath of a real dragon?

“Come on, do it!”

Su Yan carried the Bronze Tripod and Tie Baocai casted a series of magic hand seals. Upon its magic, the tripod enlarged quickly and swallowed the Nine Dragon Swords right away!

Tie Baocai was thrilled. What a harvest! Both Star and Nine Dragon Swords!

“Give it back!”

Zu Yan was extremely mad. He was still trying to control the Bronze Chariot but he also wouldn’t give up the swords. Again, he hit Su Yan with his colossal palm seal across the air.

People who were close to Su Yan also rushed up. It was only natural for them to be envious. Su Yan had gained so much more than Zu Yan, they had to rob the Bronze Tripod!

“Humph! It’s already mine! Don’t even think about it, Zu Yan!”

Su Yan took out the Iron Rod, the mighty pattern engraved on it activated. The power of the Iron Rod was so formidable and invincible that it easily swept away all those rus.h.i.+ng toward him, who were then smashed into pieces by the energy waves radiated from the palace.

As for the palm seal created by Zu Yan, it exploded in the air under attack of the Golden Bamboo from Tie Baocai.

“Boom!”

Right about the time when Zu Yan wanted to exert his second strike, the energy waves from the palace were more tempestuous like an ancient beast waking up from long dormancy.

The grand palace was encompa.s.sed by the divine light that penetrated the universe!

The divine light, so bright and beautiful like millions of Milky Way, soared up high and cut the starry skies open, cleaving many planets!

What a terrifying scene!

The earth was trembling incessantly by this intimidating aura. The streaks of aura were as huge as mountains with endless momentum it released spreading all over the earth.

Hundreds of millions of living creatures were killed, even peerless demon lords were smashed.

“How terrifying the treasure is!”

Su Yan and Tie Baocai were both dumbstruck. Vaguely they saw an implement in the palace tangled by chaotic Qi. When it revived, the sun sunk and the moon fell. Its chaotic Qi was billowy as a sea, which was so devastating.

The entire underground palace began to collapse due to the ma.s.sive momentum.

Some people couldn’t withstand the energy waves spurting out from it and were immediately blown into blood steam.

If it weren’t for the 49 giant pillars of the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, G.o.d knows how many people would die when the grand underground palace sunk straight down.
