Princess Lyn: Fleeting Dreams

Chapter 371

It never occurred to Lyn that Kazuya was asking because he just discovered the usage of Rhys blood. Though it crossed her mind for a moment that he was acting this way because of jealousy. So even though she was reluctant about it, she couldn"t say no and accompanied him the next morning to see Rhys.

Lyn planned to hand herself over last night. So to still be around the next day made her feel strange. Rhys had cooked them breakfast. A full course meal was on the table. Lyn was the first one down when she woke up a few minutes ago Kazuya was still sleeping.

She s.h.i.+fted awkwardly about. Should she go inside? Just as Lyn debated about it, she felt Rhys lift her off the ground.

"Rhys! Put me down," Lyn exclaimed. She does not want to be close to him. Who knows what he will try?

"I haven"t seen you in a while. Don"t be stubborn. I can tell your sicker than Kazuya." Though he spoke calmly, there was fear and anger in his eyes.

Lyn sighed, "Alright, so I have worried you a lot. I apologize for that. But, do you really have any right to speak to me?"

Rhys said nothing and placed her down on the couch. He gently caressed her cheeks, "Don"t make me worry about you."

Huh?

"Your plan."

A knowing ah escaped her lips. So that"s why he is angry? Lyn bites her lip. How did he find out? Did s.h.i.+oka say something? d.a.m.n that guy, is he getting back at her for yesterday?

Well, forget that. Right now, she has to appease Rhys.

Lyn rested her head on his shoulders, causing his eyes to widen. "What are you doing?"

"Resting."

"d.a.m.n," he cursed.

"You know, I"ve already told you more than once, Rhys. But, don"t do stupid things for my sake."

"Kazuya can, but I can"t?"

Lyn sighed, "Because Kazuya is my boyfriend. Zepher is my brother, the others too. They all have a proper t.i.tle. So it"s okay for them to act carelessly for my sake."

Even though she doesn"t approve of it, she can"t stop them anymore.

"Then, give me a t.i.tle."

It was just a mere five words, but the way he said it so suggestively made her blush. "I won"t do that."

"Huh, you won"t?"

"I won"t!" Lyn exclaimed. Why does it feel like he is trying to imply something more? Besides, if she gave him a t.i.tle, it would mean acknowledging that he is special to her. That is something she wants to avoid at all costs.

"Then, if you won"t, I"ll make one myself."

Quite some time has pa.s.sed since she last saw Rhys. So, her guard is down. Lyn didn"t expect him to kiss her so suddenly. Since she was talking, it was easy for Rhys to stick his tongue inside.

"Nnnghh!!"

Rhys lips curve to a sly smirk, and Lyn hit his chest. But he wouldn"t let her stop. The more he kissed her, the more she felt her entire body burn up. His light touches and caresses made her feel

"Rhys...stop."

But of course, he doesn"t stop. The moment she said those words, he deepened the kiss. After kissing for what felt like forever, Rhys eventually pulled away from her. He seemed satisfied, and Lyn felt her vision blur. Rhys immediately catches her, "It was so good, huh?"

"I"ll kill you later."

Rhys lips curve to a smirk, he seemed amused. "Then, I"ll wait for it."

The two of them bantered around for a bit when a sleepy-looking Kazuya emerged from the doorway. Lyn immediately stood up and left Rhys side.

"Kazuya, good morning," she greeted. She tugged on her clothes and fixed them up quickly.

Kazuya looked at her half-dazed before he buried his face in her chest. T--this one is even worse! "Kazuya, don"t be stupid. Let"s eat breakfast."

"Thanks for the meal."

"Not me!"

After much fuss, she finally got Kazuya to sit down on the table. Kazuya glanced over at Rhys and frowned, "Did you hara.s.s Lyn again?"

"I didn"t."

"She keeps avoiding your gaze."

Kazuya is as sharp as ever. Sensing his mood, though, Lyn didn"t want to cause a fight to break out. While she doesn"t know what kind of agreement they came up with regarding her. Lyn knew it was still a sensitive topic. If Rhys ever did something overboard and without consideration for her own feelings, then Kazuya would get angry.

"Rhys, Kazuya wants to give his blood."

Rhys didn"t seem surprised and nodded. "Alright, let"s start now then."

"Now?"

"It"s easier since he is in the middle of consuming food. Kazuya, you can keep eating."

Kazuya nodded and continued to eat his meal. One arm extended out onto the table. Rhys stood up and made his way over. Kazuya used his free hand to eat, but it looked difficult, so Lyn started to feed him instead.

"Lyn, you have to eat too," he brushed his free hand on her lips. "Okay?"

"Yes," Lyn nodded and took a bite of the omelet. As one would expect from Rhys cooking, it was very good. The softness of the omelet swept inside her mouth, and she chewed slowly. The entire time she felt Rhys glance over, but she focused on the food.

"Ouch."

Lyn glanced back over at Kazuya and saw that Rhys with a large needle. "Hey!" Lyn exclaimed. "Why do you have to use..." Doesn"t he usually use a small needle? What"s with the large one for?

Rhys rolled his eyes, "Why are you panicking for? Not even Kazuya is freaking out."

"B—but needles hurt."

"Kazuya isn"t afraid of a needle."

He isn"t? Lyn took a sideways glance at him, despite the pained cry from just now. Kazuya appeared relatively calm. Maybe it was just like what Rhys said. After a few minutes had gone by, Lyn got a closer look, though, and noticed something strange. Kazuya kept making weird faces, and his entire face down to his neck was covered in sweat.

She extended her hand out to caress his face, indeed to confirm it was damp. Frowning, Lyn questioned him. "What"s wrong, Kazuya?"

"N—nothing."

Lyn looked him up and down. Could it be, he"s actually afraid? Rhys, however, doesn"t seem to know that. She s.h.i.+fted closer and squeezed his hands with hers. "Lyn," Kazuya"s gaze is soft. "You really are amazing, huh."

She laughs, "You"re just silly, Kazuya, I won"t judge you for something like this."

"But don"t you think it"s uncool. I"m a guy, but I"m frightened of needles."

"And I"m a Princess who hates the crowd. It"s the same thing," Lyn trailed off. "Besides, it doesn"t matter. For me, you"ll always look cool."
