Chapter 126: Mysterious Of The World
Out in the hall, a certain squirrel boy peeled himself out of the indent of the wall and held his head while shaking it. As he did, a small note fell to the floor. He picked it up and read what was written on it. "When you are done s.c.r.e.w.i.n.g the wall, make sure you have someone repair it. All costs will be billed to your family. If you do not wish to pay, I do not mind smacking you until you do."
"This… That f.u.c.king b.i.t.c.h!" The young squirrel boy gritted his teeth as he crushed the note in his hands. He stormed over to the cla.s.sroom and kicked the door open. "Stupid b.i.t.c.h get out here now!"
"Who!? What!? Where!?" Mr. Lambert almost jumped out of his skin with the sudden intrusion. "Oh! Student Fredos, why the h.e.l.l are you here disturbing my cla.s.s? Leave now, or I will slap you silly."
"Old man, don"t think just because you are a little strong that I am scared of you. My father will easel..."
*Slap!*
"Sorry, what was that? I couldn"t hear what you said with the sound of my hand hitting your face." Mr. Lambert had already grabbed the young squirrel boy by the collar of his s.h.i.+rt and was currently slapping him over and over. The speed of his hand was so fast that without high stats, you would not be able to see it. "Hmm? Why are you not speaking? What is this gurgling sound you are making? What is this red fluid you are spilling out all over my floor? You better clean this up, or you can forget about pa.s.sing to the next year."
The young squirrel boy was trying to plead for the old man to stop, but all that came out was a gurgling sound as blood spewed from his mouth. He knew he had lost a few teeth already. He could feel them bouncing around his mouth. He never thought the d.a.m.n old man wouldn"t give him any face and begin beating him before he could even finish his words. His eyes moved towards Kana and narrowed. He would never have been in this situation if it was not for this woman! His hatred for Kana grew even more!
Kana did not miss his look and only smiled at him before looking away. She already decided she would get in contact with Claine and Tilia later and discuss a way to deal with him. She did not know who exactly his father was and did not want to cause an issue for the king or Tilia. But this did not mean she would not do anything if he kept delivering himself up to her to be knocked around. Well, three times now, and she has not had to lift a finger as of yet since other people keep doing it for her.
"Student Fredos, why are you not answering? Hmm?" Mr. Lambert looked at the young squirrel boy in his hands, that was now pa.s.sed out and snorted. "Pa.s.sing out so easily, how are you going to make it anywhere in life!"
Mr. Lambert casually walked over to the cla.s.sroom door and tossed the young squirrel boy out without much thought before closing the door behind him. "Now, where was I? Oh yes! In order to make sure the flow of magic in a magic circle does not exceed its max amount, you need to add certain signs that help regulate magic intake. If you do not do this, the magic circle may explode, and this could cause serious injury or even death, depending on the kind of magic circle you are making. So remember, if you do not see these regulator signs within a magic circle, then it is incomplete and should not be used. Many companies have gotten in trouble for selling magic tools with incomplete magic circles. So do not think that just because you buy a magic tool that it will be safe. Always check for the correct signs on it. " Mr. Lambert paused and looked down at the floor where a s.h.i.+ny red puddle of blood s.h.i.+mmered in the light of the room. "Who the h.e.l.l put this blood on the floor!?"
In the research section of the academy, newspaper clippings were spread out across a table. These clippings were the same ones that Kana collected while she explored the building in that magic realm. "Sir, from what I can tell, this is ancient Daelea."
"Are you sure?" A goat man asked.
"Yes. I have run into ancient Daelea before. It used to be a highly advanced society, much more advanced than anything could even imagine. The strange thing is from all the magic realms we have encountered that have been whipped out to such an extent is that they all seem to have one thing in common." The duck man pointed to the clipping showing a large planet or asteroid falling from the sky.
"So your saying that all these races were all destroyed the same way? This is not something that could be considered a coincidence." The goat man fell deep into thought.
" If we a.n.a.lyze all the data, each of the one hundred and fifty magic realms, they all have the same outcome. Their plants turn into ma.s.sive deserts with a few underground cities built that still perish. What"s more, is that these same races can be found on this planet as well. Although I am not sure if they are their ancestors or not since many of these races do not have anything dating back more than a few million years ago. When these other races appeared, we do not know. Much has been lost over the years… But if by chance some of the descendants of these magic realms moved to this world, then it would make a lot of sense. I mean, Do you not find it funny that there are texts on the ancient languages of these magic realms? But we are just now finding these magic realms? Not to mention that they are transcribed into this world"s language" the duck man felt that if they could find the hidden link, they would make a ma.s.sive discovery. But then an idea popped into his head. "This is just a small thought, but what if ninety percent of all races of this world migrated here at some point from somewhere else? We also have this system thing as well… There are no records to show why we have such a thing."
"Hmmm… If you are right, then the mysteries of our world may begin to unravel."
