Chapter 155: Water Dragon Evolution Part Two
[AN: Bonus Chapter 1/5]
Port City Seldad…
Ceilie walked into an inn with a certain cat G.o.ddess still attached to her arm. The crow man behind the counter looked at the two giving them an awkward stare. But being the professional that he was, he quickly put a smile on his face as he asked: "What can I do for you ladies?"
"I want to rent a room with two beds, and also, would you be able to tell me when the next boat to Faegrocari will be departing?" Ceilie asked. She knew she could not get rid of the d.a.m.n cat G.o.ddess, so she could only spend extra and get a room with two beds.
"Faegrocari, you say? Hmmm… Next month it should be here. It had just left two days ago and will not be back until then." The crow man answered.
Ceilie pondered for a moment and decided this was not a bad thing. "Then let me rent the room until then. How much?"
The crow man"s eyes grew excited as he let out a laugh. "Haha, since you are renting for such a long time, I will give you a discount. Only 30 silver."
"Alright, here you go." Ceilie handed over the thirty silver.
The crow man gave her the key to the room as he said: "It"s the best room we have on the third floor."
With a nod, Ceilie and Nergal went up to the third floor. She opened the door to see a rustic looking room that was kept very clean. "Not bad."
"My dear Ceilie, since you have to wait a month, you might as well go ahead and evolve. This would be the perfect place for it. I promise to protect you well during that time." Nergal smiled as she hopped onto one of the beds.
Ceilie thought for a moment and looked at Nergal. They had been together for three days now and not once did Nergal try to harm her. In fact, Nergal was waiting on her hand and foot, trying her best to get into her good books. Although she liked to try to do perverted things, she never once tried to harm her. But evolution was a very sensitive time. Anyone could come in and break the egg, killing the person who was trying to evolve.
After thinking about it for a while, Ceilie finally asked: "Nergal, you promise you will not harm me if I trust you?"
"Promise! I will even sign a magical contract with you that says: I promise to always protect, care for and love my dear Ceilie until death does us part!" Nergal smiled brightly as she jumped up from the bed, clinging on to Ceilie.
Ceilie let out a sigh. She was used to this by now. Nergal was one who loved skins.h.i.+p. "Okay, if you are willing to do as you say, I will sign a magic contract with you... But why does this sound as if we are getting married?"
"Hehe… If you want to get married, I do not mind… We can even consummate it right here, right n… Ouch! Why did you hit my head!?" Nergal put on an aggrieved expression as she rubbed her head.
"Stop talking nonsense. Let"s hurry up and write up the contract." Ceilie said as she pried herself from Nergal"s embrace.
Nergal pouted as she mumbled: "What nonsense… I was being serious..."
Very quickly, Nergal wrote up the contract, and after a few adjustments due to Nergal trying to sneak things into it. Ceilie signed it. "Okay, I will begin..." Ceilie stripped down and sat in the middle of the bed. She completely ignored the drool flowing out of Nergal"s mouth. She opened her menu and selected Sunfire War Cat, and the process of her evolution began.
Nergal smiled sweetly as she waved her hand. "My dear Ceilie deserves a better cla.s.s than these s.h.i.+tty ones."
As Ceilie"s egg was about to completely encase her inside, Ceilie got a sudden notification on her system menu.
[Special Cla.s.s initiated: h.e.l.lFire Cat Obtained. Now commencing evolution...]
"Now to make sure no one can enter this room… And to take care of those people Prince Smir sent. Shadow!" Nergal yelled out as she waved her hand at the same time, creating a barrier sealing off the room. "Go kill Prince Smir"s men. Do not let any of them escape."
The shadow cats that emerged from the shows all let out a meow before disappearing once again.
Inside the sealed off cave, Creige sat next to the blue egg with his eyes closed. In the past three days, he had not moved a single inch, nor had he eaten or drank anything during this time. He was waiting patiently for kana to finish her evolution. The second evolution always took much longer.
Creige slowly opened his eyes and looked over at the blue egg next to him. He waved his hand, making a cloth appear out of nowhere, and began gently wiping the blue egg off. Making sure each centimtere of the egg was perfectly clean. After he was sure that there was not even a speck of dust on the egg, Creige put away the cloth and closed his eyes once again, waiting for Kana to emerge.
A week pa.s.sed, and finally, a cracking sound could be heard echoing throughout the cave. Creige opened his eyes and smiled as he looked over at the egg. The top of the egg shot off as A thin delicate looking hand gripped the side using it to push the rest of the body out. Kana stood there with her blue hair draped around her shoulders. Her snow white skin reflecting the light within the cave. The difference this time was that on parts of her body were small patches of blue scales. Her tail also changed to become more narrow and had two fins at the end of it. Her ears now looked like fins, and her fingers and toes now had webbing. On her back instead of wings was a long fin that went from the middle of her back down to the base of her tail. This version of herself was much different from her fire element.
Kana"s cheeks blushed as she looked at Creige, who was staring back at her. She stepped out of the egg and covered her private areas with her hand and tail. She reached out with her free hand and said: "Clothes..."
