Gary"s father"s face turned black seeing the white demon show up once again. Anger was clearly visible on his face as he yelled. "What do you want!? You already took so much. What else do you want?"
"Hehe.." Kana giggled as she began playing with the dirt on the ground with her toe, her paws behind her back, and with her head lowered, acting very bashful as she continued: "Well, you see... I came to borrow your fireplace and kitchen… You won"t say no, right? I mean…."
Kana"s body disappeared and then reappeared above Gary"s father and slammed her tail down onto Gary"s father, causing him to smash through his newly fixed roof. "I might hit someone if you said no… What? I can take whatever I want!? You"re so nice!"
At this time, there was also a crowd forming outside the village elder"s house. "What"s going on?"
"Melinda"s white lizard is back. It just smashed the village elder through his roof. Now it seems to be ripping the chimney off the side of the house."
"I am glad it wasn"t my kid who caused trouble for Melinda. That white lizard is like a demon."
"Maybe it is a white demon and not a lizard. It does talk, after all. I never heard of a monster that could talk. But I have heard of demons that could talk."
"If it is a demon, we should be even more careful. As of now, it is only targeting the village elder because his son tried to do things to Melinda."
"Should we start giving Melinda offerings, so it doesn"t come and tear our houses down?"
s
"Good idea, let"s do that. This village owes Melinda a lot anyway."
The crowd of villagers all turned and ran back to their houses to gather all kinds of things from foodstuffs to clothing and began bringing it to Melinda"s house. Melinda, who was getting things together so it could be easily moved around, suddenly saw a train of villagers coming towards her. She quickly scooped up Bell and ran into the house, locking the door behind her. When no one knocked on her door, even though there was a lot of noise outside, she peered out the window to see them all stacking items outside her door!
One old lady saw Melinda through the window and smiled as she said: "Ahh Melinda, dear, we villagers want to apologize for looking the other way and will start bringing you offerings every week, okay!? Remember to tell that de… White lizard, we were here."
Melinda was in a daze trying to figure out what was going on. She even heard one person talk about building a great shrine of the white lizard. She slumped down onto the ground and waited for the villagers to leave. But as she opened the door to see what was left, she was greeted by a certain white lizard with a fully intact fireplace in its arms. "Kana!?"
"Oh! Look what the village elder gave me. He said he didn"t need it anymore!" Kana said as she placed the fireplace on the ground that still had chunks of a house connected to it before turning around and saying: "I will be right back. I forgot something!"
"What..?" Melinda was completely confused as to why anyone would give away their fireplace!
"Mama, look at all the food and warm blankets!" Bell had already jumped into the pile of things and began inspecting them all. This brought Melinda back out of her stupor. She was really wondering if the white lizard with the halo on its head was actually a guardian angel pretending to be a lizard. She decided no matter what Kana was. She was someone who she owed a lot to.
In the village, Gary"s father was raging mad. Not only was the front entrance of his house that he had just painstakingly fixed destroyed yet again, now another wall was destroyed, and his fireplace was missing! He loved that fireplace!
s
"That d.a.m.n stupid white lizard the next time I see it I am going to ki…. Ahhh! My a.s.s!" Gary"s father screamed out in pain as he jumped up into the air grabbing at his b.u.t.t.
"Hoho? I had a feeling inside me that these things were truly dangerous. To think the enemy of all enemies was below my feet this entire time. Just sitting there on the ground, letting people walk all over them, just waiting to strike when their victims least expect it. The horrifying all powerful rock!" Ever since she woke up, she has had this strange habit of making sure the ground under her was free of any protruding rocks. Now she understood why. She had decided to run a test on the person badmouthing her. And the results… Rocks are evil beings who are truly out to get you when you least expect it.
"Now then. I will go take my kitchen now..." Kana ignored the man rolling around on the ground screaming for help, went to the backside of the house, and with a few kicks and tugs, ripped the entire kitchen off the house, causing the entire thing to cave in. "Hmm? Did I hear something?"
Kana could have sworn she heard a m.u.f.fled cry for help coming from within the house. Deciding it was nothing, she shrugged her shoulders and lifted the section of the house up, and made her way down the road with it. At the village elder"s house that was now destroyed, there were sounds of weeping and cries for help not only from the man outside but from under the rubble. Gary, who had been crippled in both legs, was now trapped under the roof that fell down on top of him.
And the culprit of all of this was singing a strange song as she walked up the road. "Meat is good for breakfast~ Meat is good for lunch~ Meat is good for dinner~ But most of all, meat is good for~ snaaaaaacks~~~~~! "
