Chapter 910: Sword G.o.d Inheritance Part 2
Bi Ling climbed to the top of the mountain, where a palace shaped like a sword stood tall and imposing. At the bridge leading to the entrance of this palace were two tall stone statues that guarded the bridge like two mighty G.o.ds. They stood almost thirty Kana tall.
Bi Ling had to crane her neck to look up at these tall statues with sparkling eyes. She had never seen such huge structures before. "I am starting to think this inheritance might just be better than I thought, Mei."
"Sister Bi, you should still be careful. All these cultivators are looking at us strangely." Mei Ling warned.
"Don"t worry. I will be sure to teach them a lesson if they dare to come near us. We sisters have to protect each other, so I will not let anything happen to us." Bi Ling replied while patting her chest.
None of these cultivators had any ill intentions toward Bi Ling, they were either surprised to see such a young girl on the mountain peak, or they found it strange that she was talking and replying to herself as if she was crazy in the head. Even her words just now were brushed off as a little girl speaking nonsense. But when they saw her walking towards the statues, many of them all shot forward to block her path. "Little girl! Don"t go any further or you will lose your life!"
"Yes, little girl. It"s fine to look from afar, but if you get too close those statues will come alive and stomp you." Another cultivator, who was an old man, also warned.
Kana, who was watching from above, nodded her head in approval. She liked people who were selfless like this and, instead of getting rid of the compet.i.tion, were trying to save a life. "Not all cultivators are bad."
Bi Ling looked at the few people in front of her and pursed her lips. "I will be fine. Nothing will hurt me here. But is it true that the statues come alive?" Bi Ling asked.
"Yes, they do. They will attack anyone who tries to get close…. Look, someone is coming to test their luck." The old man said as he pulled Bi Ling back and pointed at a young burly man with large muscles.
Bi Ling did not fight the man as he pulled her back. She was curious about just how strong these statue things were. What she saw amazed her as the statuses really did come to life! They grabbed their stone sword and swung it at the young cultivator who was trying to sneak by. But what she found truly amazing as the young man was squashed to death was the speed of these statues. They did not even give a person a chance to dodge! It all happened in an instant, and now she knew why no one moved to use the cultivator as a decoy because there was just no way to pa.s.s the statues at all.
Bi Ling still stood to the side as she watched another group of people walk up from down below. They looked around the crowd, and as soon as they spotted Bi Ling, the man in the lead eyes showed a cold light as he walked right over to her. "You! You will come with me!"
"Hey, what are you doing!? She is just a little girl!" The old man next to Bi Ling yelled out.
"Humph! Old man, learn your place. I am the fiftieth Prince of Long Country, Prince Kun! How dare you tell me what to do." Prince Kun yelled out.
"Ermmm… Old man, is this girl okay? She thinks she is some big hot shot because she has a t.i.tle." Bi Ling asked before looking at Prince Kun and saying: "I have a t.i.tle too. It"s Little Bunbun. My Mama says it"s a cute t.i.tle, but I don"t try to use it to pressure people. So why are you trying to pressure someone with a t.i.tle like Princess Kun? What are you a princess of? And on top of that, you are number fifty, which means you are so low on the princess scale that you would need fifty lifetimes before you could even gain a chance at the throne or even be married off to some prince somewhere.
"But yet here you are talking so proudly about this t.i.tle of yours. How about this…. As Little Bunbun, I order you to spin around three times and say: Lyrical Magical Pretty Princess Kun!" Bi Ling"s words caused everyone to burst out laughing. The old man at her side was holding his stomach and trying his hardest to stay composed. But what made this all too funny for everyone there was the straight face that Bi Ling had on while saying all of this.
"You! You little trash dare talk back to me! Quickly cut off her head! She insulted royalty!" Prince Kun yelled out. The guards behind him did not move. They dared not to. They had no idea where it was coming from, but a great pressure was weighing down on them. They felt that if they even moved an inch, they would instantly die.
Prince Kun turned to look at his guards, who were just standing there doing nothing, and got even more angry as he stomped his feet. "I said to kill her! Now you dare not even listen to me!? I will tell my father about this!"
"Hey, old man, is this Princess Kun okay? She seems to be shouting for no reason." Bi Ling asked, causing the old man next to her to burst out laughing.
"Who are you calling a princess!? I am Prince Kun! Prince!" It was only now that Prince Kun realized that the little girl in front of him had only been referring to him as she and princess.
"Huh? You"re a guy!? I thought you were a girl! Are you sure? Some old pervert didn"t lie to you, did he, just so he could keep you for himself?" Bi Ling asked. She could have sworn that this long haired ugly girl was just a very ugly woman. While she had some stubble, she still had pale white skin and a feminine face.
