Chapter 283: Let’s Do That
"Now that is a big battle!" Kana and her group appeared over a large battlefield. It seemed the Jokasins Empire and the Firlong Nation were having a grand battle.
"Should we joining the show or watch for a while longer?" Camlia"s hands were growing itchy. She loved raining death and despair on those who she did not care about.
"Wait..." Kana sniffed the air and smelt a familiar scent mixed in with the blood filling the battlefield. "That b.a.s.t.a.r.d is alive."
"You don"t mean?" Mary"s eyes narrowed. There was only one person who could have lived after all of that.
"Yep, that commander guy survived somehow, and he is down there now fighting. " Kana confirmed Mary"s suspicion.
"So, how do you want to go about it? We can destroy the opposing army then kill those you wish to be dead?" Kana asked.
"OOo! Which side do you want annihilated!? Let me do it! Let me! Me!" Camlia was jumping up and down, waving her hand back and forth. She was really eager to shed some blood.
"Alright, Big Sister can deal with them while us three go s.n.a.t.c.h someone off the battlefield to have a small chat." Kana"s voice went cold at the end. Her whole body was suddenly radiating a large amount of bloodl.u.s.t. So much so that Mary, who was in Kana"s arms, face went pale.
"Yay! Kana sure knows how to spoil her Big Sister! Off I go!" Camlia began to skip through the air in her gothic style lolita dress, and from somewhere, a teddy bear appeared in her right hand that flopped up and down as she made her way to where the Firlong Nation was.
Kana ignored the magical teddy bear and flew off towards the place where she smelled that commander, Commander Branson. The person who wanted to turn her over to the higher ups so they could dissect her and treated Mary like a slave.
They flew right over the battlefield unseen since everyone was paying attention to their fronts. Kana was amazed by some of the technology they had. They even had tall robots shooting gatling lasers at the other side. Kana scanned the crowd and finally picked out her target right as a giant teddy bear appeared on the enemy"s side and began blowing fire at its surroundings. You could hear Camlia"s laughter across the battlefield.
"Creige him." Kana pointed at a certain man. Creige nodded and disappeared, reappearing over the man, grabbing him by the head, and then disappearing again.
"Who!? You!? No, it can"t be you!" Commander Branson was scared stiff when he saw Mary. He did not recognize Kana since she had changed so much.
"Heh… Why can"t it be me? The one who should be surprised is Kana and me. I mean, you survived such destruction. Well, your good looks are gone at least." Mary sneered at the commander.
"You! Where is that bit… Ow, f.u.c.k!" Commander Brandson yelled out as Creige hit him in the face. His nose instantly shattered.
"Watch what you call me, or my husband will punch you." Kana said with a smile that was not a smile. Commander Branson wanted to yell: "He already did!"
"At any rate, you will not have an easy time. Naru, do your thing." Kana called Naru, who was sitting idly in her hair and came flying out. "Aoi do want to play too?"
"Yay!" Aoi flew out and pushed Naur out of the way before waving her hand, forming a water bubble around Commander Branson. "Hehe, Naru, let"s do that to him."
"You mean that? Isn"t that too gruesome?" Naru asked.
"Who cares? After how he treated Kana that time, he deserves it." Aoi answered, her little cheeks puffed out.
"Alright… Then let"s do that then." Naur"s lips curled up into an evil grin as she rubbed his hands together.
Commander Branson was screaming in his head: "What the h.e.l.l is that!?"
"Then I will leave him to you two. Mary and I will go take care of the others." Kana did not know exactly what that was, but she figured whatever it was would not be pretty.
Kriren, The Land of the Elves….
"Kymil! Not only has Aila and Conall disappeared, but seven of the villagers have disappeared too! We can not keep going on like this!" An old elf man yelled at the middle aged man sitting on the high seat in a meeting room.
"Father, you already gave up this seat to me, so I will do things how I see fit. Although I lost my own daughter, I still must think of the rest of the village as a whole. I can not risk any more lives venturing out into the depths of the forbidden forest to search for them or the thing that took them." Kymil spoke calmly. He hated this more than anyone, but he had no choice. He had hundreds of villagers to look after. Otherwise, he would go out and search for his daughter himself.
"You! When my daughter married you, I thought you would be someone who could lead this village. First, you let my daughter die, and now my granddaughter is probably dead. If you will not search for her, then I will." The old man snorted before turning to walk away.
Kymil sighed and waved his hands, causing two guards to come over and stop the old man. "Father, please understand I can not let you go out to die too. Lock him up for now. But make sure he is well taken care of!"
"d.a.m.nit! Kymil!" The old man yelled as he was dragged away.
"For now, set more guards to watch the walls. No entry and no exit for the time being understood!?" Kymil looked around the room at everyone present. He could only do so much for the time being.
"Yes, sir!" The group of men yelled out in unison.
The old man who was dragged out waited until he was far enough away from the meeting hall before flipping his wrist and casting sleep magic on the two guards. "Sleep well friends. You may get yelled at for this but I must go. My granddaughter is all I have left to remind me of my daughter."
