Chapter 898: Innocent Minds
"So we now have everything we need. I think…" Kana said as she felt the different powers circulating through the air.
"Mama, will this be enough for us to reach the top of this plane?" Rain asked.
"I am not sure, to be honest. We can only see how far it will get us." The entire place was filled to the brim with so many qi"s and divine power that a rainbow colored mist had formed in the cultivation room that Kana had set up. It was so thick that it was hard to even see.
"Unlike before, we will not be just sitting here cultivating and fighting in the training room. We will each need to go out and explore a bit, but I wanted everyone to at least reach the immortal king realm if possible." Kana had a feeling that the amount of qi they would need for each cultivation stage would require much more than they had in supply. Even if that was not the case, there was no telling if their breakthroughs would be easy anymore. She may even need to leave and try to find opportunities to break through. It was not something she wished to do, but it was only a matter of time before this would be needed.
And as Kana feared. After fifty years of cultivation, she felt her cultivation just would not advance any further. It was not just her but everyone else as well. The only one who seemed to be fine was Creige. She also underestimated the amount of qi she would need to break through. Their demon qi, chaos qi, and soul energy were fine since it was continually being replenished, but the G.o.d qi and spiritual qi were becoming less and less.
"I guess it is time. I wanted you all to reach immortal king level, but it seems we will not make it…." Kana said with a frown.
"What should we do?"Creige asked. He could feel the power in him surging. He even wanted to go out and test it out.
"We will need to split up for now and try to find chances to break through," Kana replied as she pouted slightly and leaned against him. "The thought of splitting up is not something I really like thinking about."
"Mama, we will always be within your detection range, so I think we will be okay." Angelica was trying to make her Mama feel better.
"Mm… I know…. I just feel like even a minute away from my family is too long. Maybe I am just clingy, but I love you all so much that I wish to spend every moment with you all. But I know that can not happen, so I can only watch over you as you travel and explore to learn new things and better yourselves." Kana smiled as she stood up.
"So from this moment on, you will all venture out and explore. I am sure we will meet up at some point. Just be careful and…. Mei Ling, Bi Ling, take care of each other okay?" Kana was worried most about Mei and Bi Ling. But she knew that with Bi Ling"s personality that she would definitely protect Mei Ling from any danger.
"Don"t worry, Mama, Sister Bi will protect me." Mei Ling replied with a smile.
"Yep! Leave it to me!" Bi Ling, who had popped out, patted her chest.
"Then, from this point on, we will all be separating for the time being." Kana sighed as she knew this was the only way to really progress any further.
"Mama, I will speak with the servants and make sure they have enough spirit stones to get by," Yana said as she stood up. She was worried the servants would be without while they were gone.
Kana smiled and pulled out a bag of spirit stones. "Give this to the head butler. He can distribute them as he sees fit."
"Okay!" Yana said before leaving the room.
"Alright, I won"t hold you up any longer. Just be careful but remember I will always be a step away. As long as you call my name, I will be there." Kana said with a bit of reluctance.
"Mama, if you keep this up, we will never be able to leave." Angelica teased as she hugged Kana. One after the other, the girls said their goodbyes before leaving. Only Creige was left in the room.
"Are you going to be okay?" Creige asked.
"Mmm… we will meet again," Kana said as she hugged and kissed Creige. But after a few seconds of thought, she said: "Let me taste your meat stick a few more times before we go."
"Geh!" Yana"s voice came from behind them, causing Kana to turn around and stare at her. "I just heard something I need to unhear. Mama, I am off. Bye!" Yana did not enter the room all the way and took off with red cheeks. Her Mama needs to learn time and place!
Creige chuckled as he watched his daughter scurry away. "They are hundreds of years old yet still so innocent. But your suggestion…. I think we should head to the bedroom."
Kana let out a squeal as Creige lifted her up and carried her in his arms towards the bedroom. The servants who happened to see it blushed and looked the other way. Outside the house, Yana stood there with pursed lips, with Rain and Angelica standing there staring at her. "Yana, what is wrong?"
"Mama and Handsome Papa! They don"t know when to keep their words to themselves!" Seeing how red Yana"s cheeks were, both Rain and Angelica understood what she meant. While to Rain, it was nothing, Angelica was also blus.h.i.+ng.
"When you find someone you love, there will be a day when you will be doing the same thing." Rain said.
"Ahhh! I don"t want to hear it!" Angelica yelled out as she flew off, causing Rain to chuckle. Only Yana stood there, lost in thought for a moment, then shaking her head. "Doesn"t matter. My love is my sword! Rain, be careful!"
"You too!" Rain smiled as she saw Yana take off. She was now going to set out on her own for once. "It is time. Let"s see what kind of trouble I can get into."
