Reborn As A Mom

Chapter 124

Looking at the table in front of her, Ira was enthusiastic. She had the urge to devour it all.

Fried chicken, pizza, burger, french fries, chicken nuggets, c.o.ke, and ice cream all arranged on the dining table.

Her stomach gurgled. Screaming her to eat them.

She saw the time. "It was still early. There is time for Viv to arrive."

Vivan didn"t allow her to eat fast foods.

"Eat everything and destroy the evidence before he comes." Ira sat and took a mouthful of pizza and practically swallowed it.

"Sister, I bought them for you." Ashay had a proud smile as he watched Ira eating.

"Sis, if you want to eat anything tell me."

"Cough...cough"

"Drink water. Chew slowly, enjoy the taste." Askay pa.s.sed a gla.s.s of water to Ira.

She was embarra.s.sed, but his rare gentle action made Ira suspicious.

"Well," she stopped and stared at Ashay.

"What do you want?"

This sentence broke the composed demeanor of Ashay.

Can"t I buy food for you?" he defended himself.

"Why do I get a feeling of conspiracy?"

"You didn"t like the food?" Ashay asked.

"No."

"Eat it quick. It will get cold, won"t remain delicious." He tried to distract her.

Ira rolled her eyes then bowed her head and started eating. Ira who usually ate with the elegance and grace of a lady was hooked up on the food.

What to care about her image in her own home that too in front of her brother.
Both of her hands were engaged one holding a pizza other a chicken leg as she tasted them both.

After eating for a while, Ira found her brother staring at her "Why don"t you eat it, you can eat it too."

"No, you eat."
"You ate everything. Does pregnancy make people pig? She ate it all." Ashay thought.

Ira saw his frown behind the smile. Although Ira has eaten almost everything, some french fries and nuggets were still there.

Hmph. What do I care?

After dinner, Ashay got a tub of ice cream.

Ira sat on the sofa gulping it.

"Sis, your house is big and beautiful."

"You are so beautiful as well."

"Viv is a lucky man."

"Sis, Are you tired these days?"

"I will give you a ma.s.sage."

"Ash, What do you want?" Ira finally interrupted him. He was b.u.t.tering her up. He was up to something.

"Ahh... Sis, you know me better than anyone. You"re so smart."

"Speak. No need to be cheeky now."

"Umm... I like a girl."

"Oh," Ira smiled. She was pleasantly surprised. If looked closely her eyes got moist. She remembered the man of past life. He was crying burying his head in his hands, depressed after coming to know about Clara"s deception. The night before the plot of his death.

She stared at Ash"s bright smile. This time he moved on.

"Who?" she was eager to know the ident.i.ty of the girl.

"Red," he muttered.

"Red?"

"I mean Reeya... Reeya" he bowed his head embarra.s.sed. His ear lobes had turned red.

"Reeya?!" Her face changed. Her smile turned restless.

"Yes, Reeya, your friend."

"Sis, please help me in wooing her"

"How do you know her?" Ira asked.

Ashay narrated the entire account. Their meeting, bar, hotel and how she saved him from fire.
Like a knight in s.h.i.+nning armor. His eyes were s.h.i.+ning as he described everything.

"Okay. I will help. You go now." Ira smiled.

Even though on the exterior she displayed a smile. She was scared.

Ira was happy for her brother.

Red was a good person.

In fact, Reeya was a far better human.

The past memories played in her head again disturbing her. TV stations reporting news of her death followed by a funeral.

"A firefighter died at the line of duty."

"She was buried alive in a collapsing building."

"A Hero dies saving a man."

"A man lived only because of timely rescue by the firefighter.

Can I really save her?
