Reborn As A Mom

Chapter 149

Her lashes fluttered as she struggled to open her heavy eyes. In a low, hoa.r.s.e voice she had been murmuring "Viv" for a while.

A sharp yell echoed the room, "Vivan."

She stood up ignoring the pain in her hand. A nurse came running to her side and saw red.

A few drops of blood dripped to the white ground. She had pulled the IV cannula from her wrist when she got up.

Unaware of the cut, Ira gasped and held the nurse"s hand, "My husband.." How is he?

"Ma"am he is in OT now." She supported her. "He is undergoing surgery for his leg," she informed.

"Take me." she prayed.

"Okay, I will take you there. Calm down." the nurse patted her back to ease her.

After she bandaged the wound, she held Ira to walk through the corridor.

Past her neglected him, but to such an extreme she had no idea her husband had an accident with a significant risk of losing life?

What kind of wife have you been? What kind of person? She questioned the past Ira, subconsciously unwilling to admit it was her own egoistic self.

If she could go back, she would do many things differently!

How many times would you be reborn? What can you change?

If she had known that the man was Vivan. Instead of going through all the trouble she could have just accompanied him. Prevented him from entering the place.

If only I knew

Her eyes were glued at the red light on the operation room, she was pulled in a hug. Her neck grew wet. "Ira, he is okay, right?"

The question and the tears of her mother-in-law p.r.i.c.ked her heart!

This happened because of her negligence! You don"t deserve to even shed a drop of tears.

The door opened, a doctor in a blue scrub suit turned out. When he saw Ira, he yelled at the nurse. "Why is she here?" He faced her and said, "Girl, think about your kid, your husband will be alright," Giving her a smile of a.s.surance, he gestured the attendant.

"Ma"am please return to your room. When he comes out of the surgery, we will inform you."

"No, I"ll be here." she pleaded. "He would be scared and lonely,"

"Ira, let"s go." Tara realized the situation. The operation would take a few more hours. The happenings had already stressed the pregnant girl.

Ira touched her belly and followed wordlessly. She sat on her bed staring out of the window for a long while.

She understands that everything has a cause and effect. All events are interdependent.

We can either investigate the past or blindly react to the effect.

A friend versus love...

She chose love.
