Searching For You

Chapter 120

"Sister and I could only concluded that all the people in the inn was drugged that night, except us. In the middle of the night, some men in black clothes held us hostage. Two men held Sister making her unable to move. Then there came a woman who had belly. She announced herself in front of Sister and I that she, Pa Chee, is the lawful wife of Mua Kong and is pregnant with their first child. She kicked my Sister in the stomach and belittle my sister that Sister is stupid. Why hasn"t Sister figure out the reasons why you locked her up in your Palace? It is because you already have her by your side in the main palace." Tears rolling down Pao Hua"s face as he explained the event of that night.

Mua Kong was furious, he clenched on the armrest until one could hear the cracked of the armrest.

Yee Len noticed the rage in his Lord"s heart, he quickly ran up to Mua Kong... "My Lord, calm down... You cannot act up with your son sitting on your lap."

Mua Kong was so angry, unable to contain his angers, heat wave rushed through his head causing sweats to form and drip. In a low stern voice, he commanded, "Go fetch Elder Mae to come get my son."

Yee Len nodded, he can only comply. He rushed out the door at the speed of light and a minute later, Elder Mae came in huffing and took the Young Lord out with the bowl. It seemed Yee Len had explained the situation to Elder Mae on their way to the study chamber. She carried the Young Lord out while Yee Len closed the door.

Pao Hua wiped off his tears that does not seem to stop and continued, "With Chue Yi"s last breath, he helped us escaped the fire... For the longest time, I hated the man named Mua Kong. If Sister did not want to go back into the Palace ever again! I would do everything in my power to make her wish come true..."

Pao Hua, a little boy around 8 years old at the time, a.s.sisted his sister into heavy bushes nearby. At this point, Pa Chee and her men already left. The house went up in flame. They did not stay long for fear there might be a witness due to the heavy flames. So they left.

No one could have escape at the furious fire. Pao Hua and Hli Ja hid in the bushes until the fire subsides and there was no sight of anyone nearby. Pao Hua got out of the bush and went to get the carriage.

He brought the carriage to the bushes and helped Hli Ja into the carriage. He was not sure of how to move the horses but with the instructions of Hli Ja, he was able to take them away.

After a half a night and a whole day of traveling, drained and exhausted, he found a perfect spot to stop. He led the horse deep enough into a secluded wilderness. Chue Yi had bought some snacks for the brother and sister pairs to munch in the carriage. Pao Hua ate some of those snacks to gain some strength.

After Pao Hua regained some energy, he then pushed the carriage as close as possible next to a big tree trunk. With a small weapon in the carriage, he cut out a bunch of branches, leaves, bushes and covered up the carriage nicely, leaving just a small entrance. Not far from them was a cave but they chose to nestle in the camouflage carriage.

Hli Ja who now exhausted and spotting blood from the kick into her stomach doesn"t move around much. In a low voice with little energy, she mumbled, "Pao Hua, untied the horses. Take them into the nearest town and trade the horses for money. Come get the paper from me and go get these ingredients from a pharmacy, buy some food, and utensils. Make sure don"t get lost and come back here."

Pao Hua went inside the carriage and took the prescriptions from Hli Ja. He nodded his head. No matter where he is in the world, he will find his way back to his sister. After he tucked the paper inside his clothes, he covered up the entrance of the carriage nicely. If one does not have keen eyes, one would missed the camouflage. Pao Hua untied the two horses and left to the nearest town.

After several hours gone by, Hli Ja heard noise outside. She waited to see who it was first. The sun was already out an hour ago. She was getting worried. Hli Ja then heard sounds of branches moving and a low whispered, "Sister, I"m back."

Hli Ja felt relieved at the announcement. She sighed all her worries away.
