Spending My Retirement In A Game

Chapter 304

With a smile on his face, Eisen began to set up everything that he needed to and changed the systems around a little bit so that there could be six inputs from different sources, and then created a small container where all of the Maroon that would be needed could be placed into. Eisen actually didn"t need a lot of Margon in order to create the Core Guardian, not even half a pound, so it was relatively easy to create a small container that would make it possible to truly keep all of the elemental mana inside of it at all times.

"Okay, is everything ready?" Eisen asked as he looked around at the others in the room that had been working on their own tasks for this project as well, and when he had confirmation from everyone, he hooked the six different mana-crystal cables up to the infuser and started everything up, hoping that this would work.

With his Mana-Sight active, Eisen kept staring at the small piece of metal and the colorful flows of mana, hoping to be able to discern what was going on.

It appeared as if the Maroon was just completely nullifying the elemental mana that hit it immediately, up until the last of the six types. .h.i.t it as well. At that point, the container began to fill itself up with the mana, before the thing that Eisen had hoped for happened. The Maroon slowly began to absorb the mana that was around it.

"Yes!" He exclaimed with a bright smile on his face, and the others, with the exception of Xenia who had been following everything with her Mana Spectacles as well, all looked at the old man curiously.

"Is it working?" Komer asked, and the old man nodded his head with a grin. "It is, yes. Now, let"s just hope that it works well enough. At the rate that everything is going, we should run out of the first type of mana in…" Eisen muttered to himself as he tried to figure out the time, and Stahl sighed loudly and spoke up.

"8 Hours, 15 Minutes, 32 Seconds." He said, and the old man nodded his head with a smile.

"Exactly. So, it"s getting pretty late already, so I suggest we all just go to bed and see what"s going on tomorrow morning." Eisen said with a smile as he looked out of the window, noticing the pitch-black sky outside, before the others nodded their heads.

"Alright, let"s go for that!" Xenia exclaimed excitedly, before Eisen nodded his head and sat down on his chair. He himself was probably the only one amongst the players that wouldn"t be logging off, because even if he did, he would fall asleep immediately anyway, if he could wake up in the first place. So, he would stay up as long as he could within the game, and just make sure that everything was working infusion-wise, while spending some time with his little monsters.

One after another, everyone left the room with the exception of the originals. The other four swiftly logged off and turned into their "asleep" state, and Eisen just sat there with a light smile as the room was being ignited by the different types of mana mixing together inside of the infuser.

And so, Eisen looked at the two little girls in front of him, as well as the spider that he picked up that was sitting on his thumb, while Fafnir jumped up onto his lap. "Alright you four… Do any of you have a suggestion about what we should do now?" Eisen asked with a smile, and Caria immediately raised her hand.

"Ooh! I have an idea! Let"s get Sally to evolve!" She suggested, and Eisen looked at her with a smile before turning his sight toward the small spider. "Would you like that?" The old man asked, and the tiny white spider responded with a little dance.

"Alright, then let"s try that." He responded, before he grabbed a small mana crystal from his pocket and placed it on the table in front of him, slowly splitting off another chunk, which was similar to Sal in size. With a little bit of manipulation, Eisen then managed to create a small crystal-spider copy of the Albino Spider, which Eisen then slowly manipulated to start moving. And as he was constantly using trans.m.u.tation to do so, it was also a good way to get some more proficiency for his alchemy skill, even if it was just a little bit.

"Now, let"s just play around a little bit. What do you suggest we do first?" Eisen asked with a smile before Melissa spoke up excitedly. "Web! Web!" She exclaimed and Eisen nodded his head.

"A web, huh? Alright, sounds good. Sal, do you know how to make string?" Eisen asked, and Sal immediately began to dance, which Eisen just took as a "Yes".

"Then let"s try making your first web." He said before creating a small arch out of a mana crystal, and then began to split off a few bits of thin, string-like mana crystal off of the crystals that Eisen had, attaching it to a part of the arch while letting the crystal spider start working on a web before Eisen looked at Sal.

"How about we have a little contest? You versus me, the best web-maker wins." The old man suggested, and Sal immediately hurried over to the other arch that Eisen created, starting to make his own web so that he wouldn"t lose to Eisen.

And of course, both Caria and Melissa began to cheer on both of them at the same time, excited to see either of them win.

The whole thing actually took quite long, unexpectedly long in Eisen"s opinion, but soon enough one of them won, and the one who did began to dance his little trademark dance, while Eisen just chuckled and shaped a part of a mana crystal into a tiny trophy and had his mana-crystal spider hand it over to Sal.

"Congrats, little guy." He said with a smile on his face, while Sal took the trophy into his arms and was then soon surrounded by a bright light as his body began to grow immensely.

Right from the size of Eisen"s fingernail when he was regular-sized to the size of his fist. And with a smile on his face, Eisen then picked the, still quite fluffy, white spider up on his palm and looked at him happily.

"Congrats again, Sal. This time on becoming Rank 1!" Eisen exclaimed, before Sal seemed to take a closer look at himself and then wiggled happily before starting to dance again to show his excitement, while Eisen looked at his status.

[Sal]

[Race - Large Albino Spider][Rank - 1][Level - 1]

[HP - 200][MP - 300]

[STR - 6][END - 7][AGI - 13][INT - 9][WIS - 12]

[Skills]

-[Dancing][Rank - 1][Level - 5]

-[String Control][Rank - 1][Level - 2]

"Oh, so you"re apparently more set to being either a magician or a dancer, huh?" Eisen asked with a laugh, while Sal just tilted his head to the side and looked at the old man with his eight red eyes.

"Well, either way, how about we get you started on magic, alright?" He suggested, and once more, Sal just stared back at Eisen, seemingly a bit confused.

"You know, this kind of thing." The old man answered as he held his other hand upward and created a raw, small "Flame of the Earth" above his palm, and Sal immediately began to dance, although he seemed interested in something else as well.

Immediately, he climbed along Eisen"s arm and up his chest onto his face, staring into the old man"s eyes directly, before Eisen understood what he meant. "Huh, so you want to learn something that has to do with eyes? Well, that makes sense, you have eight of them… Let"s just try a few things out then." Eisen suggested before he activated his truth seeing eyes and then practically ripped Sal from his face, because he wanted to keep looking at the small golden things in the old man"s head.

"Alright… Well, you should feel it inside of you now, right? That little bit of warm, weirdly cool energy?" Eisen asked as he placed his fingertip on Sal"s back, before pouring a little bit of his own mana into his body so that he could get a rough idea of what it was like while Eisen used his Mana-sight to properly see if Sal was really properly manipulating his own mana.

Slowly, the spider nodded his head, before Eisen gave him the first few tasks and tricks, suggesting to just "compress" the mana into a single spot a few times and then move that around, because that was one of the first things that he himself did.

And soon enough, seeing that Sal seemed to have surprisingly good control over it already, Eisen told him to try and move the mana into one of his eyes. Immediately when Sal did so, the eye surprisingly turned completely white, even when Eisen turned off his Mana-Sight.

"What… is going on… You can"t normally see the effect of regular mana like that so easily…" Eisen muttered out, before he scratched the back of his neck. It would probably make sense to ask Jyuuk and Xenia when they logged back on, but for now, the old man just had to make sure that Sal wasn"t accidentally hurting himself and opened the spider"s status again, although he saw a few rather surprising changes.

[Sal]

[Race - Large Albino Spider][Rank - 1][Level - 3]

[HP - 200][MP - 300]

[STR - 3][END - 4][AGI - 7][INT - 18][WIS - 24]

[t.i.tles]

-[Blessed by Mana]

[Skills]

-[Dancing][Rank - 1][Level - 5]

-[Mana Manipulation][Rank - 0][Level - 24]

-[String Control][Rank - 1][Level - 2]

Confused at the sudden change of Sal"s stats and that new t.i.tle that appeared out of nowhere, Eisen figured it was exactly that t.i.tle that was the reason for that change of stats, and so, the old man took a closer look at it.

[t.i.tle - Blessed by Mana]

[Description] A t.i.tle belonging to only a few, which shows itself in albinism. It is anch.o.r.ed deep inside a creatures body even if they cannot yet use mana, but is then truly unlocked the first time they use it.

[Effect] Halves STR, END and AGI stats; Doubles INT and WIS stats; makes it easier to learn and level magic-based skills; makes it harder to learn and level physical skills;

Eisen slowly looked at the small spider, more specifically his movements, and then scratched the back of his neck as he looked at Sal, who had basically just been forced into what to become by the world itself. And now that he saw Sal"s stats, he could see that he was really moving more sluggishly and somewhat slumped, which Eisen really had never seen in a spider before.

But nonetheless, Sal continued dancing around, even if it was a lot harder to do so now. Carefully, Eisen began to explain to the tiny spider that it would probably be quite hard for him to properly dance now, but Sal didn"t care at all. He probably didn"t realize what Eisen was saying, but nonetheless, the small spider just continued dancing happily, all the whilst it was turning more and more of its eyes white.

Confused at what exactly was going on, Eisen activated his truth-seeing eyes and then saw what that was. All of a sudden, Sal had learned how to manipulate mana to such an extent that he was able to manipulate ten parts of mana individually, eight of which went into his eyes, while Sal was continuosly splitting the others up as well to put them into his legs so that he could prove Eisen wrong.

And surprisingly enough, Sal really did begin moving faster again, even if just the tiniest bit. It seemed like Sal didn"t care about that t.i.tle in the slightest, and just wanted to continue dancing his heart out. So of course, Eisen didn"t think twice about supporting the tiny creature in that dream.
