Spending My Retirement In A Game

Chapter 513

Eisen grabbed a mana crystal and slowly started to decompress it so that it would turn to be three to four times the size it was before. And since the crystal was already the size of a soccer ball before then, that meant that it really turned rather large.

He started just enchanting it with a rather large array of different complex three-dimensional enchantments that Morrom actually seemed to be quite interested in. And then, Eisen moved on and took another crystal that he would later be placing into that larger crystal. He had a few smaller orbs made of specific gems and crystals to enhance the enchantments placed on each of them.

First, the central, largest orb there was had the "Magic Sensor" skill. It was a skill that let you shoot out pulses of mana to quite literally sense your surrounding. He just copied it from Xenia, of course. Some of the other, smaller orbs had different specific abilities of Eisen"s truth-seeing eyes enchanted onto them. There were the information-appraisal, mana-sight and truth-sight abilities.

Other than that, there were a few orbs enchanted with different elements, the same ones that Eisen had been using to enhance Cabarum and Aulu"s senses.

All these orbs were then placed onto the larger orb with the magic sensor skill before that construct was given a complex three-dimensional enchantment so that all of these abilities could properly be integrated into what the magic sensor could find. Now, when activated, this construct would push out a pulse of mana made up of regular mana, as well as Raziel"s sound-based mana and that beastman"s "Beast Sense" mana.

After that was done, Eisen opened up hole just large enough to fit this item through it into the very large mana crystal and placed it into its spot around the outer ring of hollowed-out orbs. Around that piece, Eisen then started forming enchantments meant to increase the strength and decrease the mana-cost of the enchantment, while also increasing the detail of the information that was retained.

The information taken through the pulse would then be fed into another crystal enchanted with the mana-copy skill to make it easier to retain this information while properly putting it into a direct "shape" instead of having it stay an abstract clump of raw data.

This would all then be saved inside of an extra information-storage crystal that Eisen made and hooked up to everything as well. And since this actually was a rather small amount of enchantments for the size of this crystal right now, Eisen continued on and placed other enchanted structures into the large spherical crystal.

For one, instead of just having that "general" enchantment to figure out the information of everything in the surrounding, Eisen created a "specific" information-gathering enchantment that would also hook up to that "general" enchantment.

If there was some sort of issue, using the data of where the source of that issue was, another enchantment would send out a more concentrated pulse into that direction that was meant to gather as much direct information as possible. Since it was supposed to be a combat-type golem, that information was obviously meant to be about different people or monsters.

And just to achieve that as much as possible, Eisen used some of Jyuuk"s specific appraisal skills for different types of creatures, as well as one ability that he copied from that Changeling he met a while ago, Dragoon. While he copied his abilities to make him some items, Eisen also placed some extra copies onto some other crystals. And one of the abilities that Eisen was trying to make use of was the enchantment meant to give as much direct physical information about the target.

A changeling was supposed to use that to figure out the actual creature that they would be changing into. It was rather mana-intensive though, so this whole thing would be activated just once per target. Either way, using these arrays of abilities, Eisen would be able to have this golem know as much about the enemy as even possible.

And that information would then be fed to the next complex enchantment. And that enchantment was one that was made up of nearly all of Brody"s combat-proficiency skills. Part of the thread that Eisen had been using for the muscles was a complex combination of a lot of the more basic of those skills as well, to practically replace the need for "muscle memory".

Really, this would just be the perfect bodyguard around here. The thing was that the more attention Eisen and the other originals were gathering, which was an at astronomical high right now, the more people that were rather troublesome would start acting up.

Since Komer already was a target for some of those troublesome people anyway, he really need some protection. And since he had all the protection that he could have in real life already, according to Komer himself at least, the only part that needed to be taken care of was the "game". And even if Komer"s character could resp.a.w.n after being killed, it would be a huge loss if something happened to the mall. And if some of those troublesome people chose to mess with the NPCs working inside of the mall, that would cause a whole other array of problems.

And sure, Eisen saw that Komer had incredibly strong abilities, but the thing with those abilities was that they were entirely based on luck. While the different magic attacks that Komer could make use of were strong enough to easily fight people that were a couple dozen levels higher than him, the only reason why that was to was that they had an incredible amount of risk connected to them. That risk was reduced the more money Komer spent to use the abilities, but money didn"t grow on trees.

Well, not yet, Eisen wanted to try combining some coins with seeds sometimes, but until that worked out, Komer"s combat was incredibly expensive. And not only was it expensive, but some of the repercussions that Komer may have to face could do immense damage to Komer himself. So, Eisen didn"t want to make Komer defend the mall all by himself. The islands would be safe, Eisen was sure of that, but they didn"t have direct jurisdiction of this town despite having some deals with the Lord of this town and a prince of this country, so they couldn"t properly defend this town like the towns on the islands.

So, Eisen was working on a bodyguard that could protect Komer and this place if necessary. For that, he even used leather with incredible defensive abilities from one of the dead monsters from Trygan"s island. It was pretty rare, but for that it had defense that was even stronger than most armor Eisen was capable of producing at the moment. Then there was the thread underneath, partially made of the very same leather, together with other materials that were just known for their strength and defense, as well as a bit of Eisen"s own very densely infused mythril that had his element fed to it for more than a month now.

The old had also turned some of that mythril into special paint using an item he made with Evalia"s element as well as some of the Ink that Stahl and Thul, Stahl"s tamed monster, had produced for the quest that Eisen gave him. That paint was then absorbed by that leather for a couple of hours to make it even stronger.

Of course, he was also using a slightly different version of that paint to dye some cloth for the outfit that Eisen would be giving this golem. It was supposed to be an incredibly overpowered strong golem, since it may need to face a lot of different, rather strong opponents.

Either way, once Eisen placed all of the different abilities that the Golem could ever need into that large sphere, he added the actual Ego-Golem core into the center of the sphere and then moved on.

He started covering the area around the spherical crystal in his mana, compressed as much as he possibly could without it actually crystalizing. It was like a very thick mist at the moment, that Eisen made sure to push anywhere inside of this crystal where he could, and then he just started to compress the whole thing. Of course, to help him with that, he actually used some magic-items, some of those hardened magic circles that he made before, so that he could actually just scale it down properly.

Soon enough, the highly enchanted sphere returned to the size of the soccer ball that it was at before, and then was compressed even more and more until it was just at the size of a tennis ball that Eisen carefully set into the center of this golem"s chest, pus.h.i.+ng it through until he was able to place it into the heart which Eisen then just had to close up.

The jelly that Eisen placed into the heart was one that was supposed to be heavily shock-absorbent to make sure the golem core was properly protected from any sort of damage. After Eisen closed the heart up, he properly sewed the muscles in place there and covered them in the layer of special leather-cloth as well as the actual leather for the chest.

With a light smile, Eisen looked down at the Golem"s finished body. Luckily he had placed any sort of mana-generators and -batteries that could be needed into the body already, or else it might have been harder to compress that golem core down to the size that it ended up being.

Either way, the old man looked around and then found the cloth and even more leather that he would be using to make this Golem"s outfit, although the others were rather surprised to see that Eisen actually just kept on going like this.

"Of course I"m going to keep going, it"s supposed to be an incredible item, after all." The old man pointed out with a laugh before looking back at the materials, "And let"s be honest, it"s going to be disturbing enough as is without a face, I don"t think having it walk around naked is going to be a great idea." Eisen explained, before grabbing some of the black and white, special cloths. Once more they were a special-mix of metallic, crystal, and other rare-material threads, and were dyed with the aforementioned special paint that Eisen created out of the highly-infused mythril.

At the moment, it was actually rather late in the night, but everyone was still curiously watching Eisen work, even if Gralmar excused himself for a couple hours at a time, since he wasn"t nearly as interested as the other four were, but he still kept popping in every once in a while to see the progress. And now, the old man just started his work, producing nothing but a clothes" item that he had actually made more than just once over the past couple of weeks anyway.

And that clothes" item was a formal black suit with a tie, handkerchief in the chest-pocket, as well as black shoes. Inbetween the layers of cloth always was a thin layer of metal just so slightly softened to be able to bend a bit according to the golem"s movements, and the shoes of course also had metal-caps and soles.

That formal suit was then placed onto the Golem, and with a bright smile, Eisen could proudly announce that this item was finished.
