Spending My Retirement In A Game

Chapter 516

After the edges of the mult.i.tool had been replaced, Eisen moved on to the blunt surfaces. Meaning mainly that of the hammer, but also of the "pestle" that was built into the mult.i.tool"s handle.

At least for the hammer, the choice of what to do was clear. He had to use the mythril that he had been infusing for over a month, the same that he had turned into paint so that he could use it for the Golem yesterday. The old man just chose to melt this mythril down a bit before alloying it with some other materials. Those materials included, but were not limited to, some Yang-Metal shavings from the surfaces of the mult.i.tool that Eisen would be replacing now.

Eisen also placed some other crystals and gems into it, most of which were enchanted with the blacksmithing skill, of course. Then, the old man alloyed it with some more metals that were halfway-infused with his element so that they didn"t fully turn into a magic-metal. Once Eisen had all that he needed for this, he compressed the metal a little as he started hammering it into shape using one of his other hammers, since his regular one was obviously currently out of comission.

What he made were basically just two caps that Eisen could place onto the hammer properly. Once the two metal pieces were done, Eisen kept one of them on a heat so that it would stay hot a bit longer, while he just heated up one of the sides of the mult.i.tool"s hammer module and then pressed one of the hot plates onto the hot side of the hammer, before proceeding to hammer it into place by using this hammer to hit into a flat surface.

This part was mainly just so that Eisen could properly make the hot metals fuse together a bit, he still went over the metal afterward with another hammer to make sure that everything was really in the shape that it was supposed to be. Then he just repeated the same with the other half.

With the slightly upgraded mult.i.tool in his hands, Eisen then just started to slightly smirk as he replaced the round, rough cap that he had placed onto the handle so that he was able to make use of it like a pestle. And after Eisen changed this, he chose to just test this out a little and hammered onto some metal. He had to say, the mythril really changed how well this mult.i.tool"s hammer worked by galaxies. Eisen would be able to speed up his work even more using this now, most likely. He should have upgraded it like this sometimes before already!

But just when Eisen was thinking this, he suddenly noticed something else. And that was that the hammer slowly turned incredibly, incredibly light until it just started floating there. But at some point Eisen was unable to move it around despite it just floating there weightlessly.

White light started spreading across its surface, and Eisen couldn"t help himself but smile as he realized that it was finally "evolving" now. Soon, the hammer regained its regular weight and dropped to the ground, and luckily Eisen was fast enough to catch it before it hit the ground.

As far as Eisen could see, it didn"t really change all that much outwardly. Here and there, some parts became even sharper or more curved, but in general they were changes that Eisen just realized he liked a lot after seeing them on it.

The changes were really minor, but the way that the mult.i.tool laid in Eisen"s hand changed immensely. But not only that, the moment that Eisen thought about it, the mult.i.tool changed into a different mode in the quickest way possible. Eisen could just lightly throw the hammer into the air maybe ten or twenty centimeters, and what would land in his hand was the knife, while the rest of the parts simply attached themselves to Eisen"s ap.r.o.n automatically where they were supposed to go when Eisen didn"t need them.

It was the perfect tool by now already! Eisen really couldn"t wait to see what it would turn into when he managed to upgrade it to Rank 7, even if that was something that was still months in this world away.

With a crack of his knuckles, Eisen had all the parts snap back onto the mult.i.tool before going to grab some of the materials that he had been preparing. Now with this, he would definitely be able to rank his skills up easily while producing more of those bodyguard golems.

The old man quickly got started and prepared everything that he needed for the bodyguard golems. His plan for now was to make a total of a dozen of them, including the golem that Eisen had made yesterday. Like this, he could more easily ma.s.s-produce them by focusing on one skill at a time. First, Eisen made the ma.s.s amount of metal bones that he needed for this out of the actually quite ma.s.sive lump of metal alloy that he had been melting together for this.

He basically just scooped some of it up every time and then got to work. The 11 sets of metal skeletons were done toward the end of the day, and Eisen"s blacksmithing proficiency for this last level of the rank rose up all the way to 95. Eisen was pretty sure that he would be able to get it to rank up once he created these 11 properly. There wasn"t much metal that he had to work with now anymore, after all. Besides the stuff for underneath the clothes, of course, but those were just thin metal plates that were cut into shape and softened a bit, nothing more than that.

Either way, since Eisen didn"t need all that much sleep anymore, he simply continued on working on this and moved on to making the cloth organs. His two apprentices had been working on getting all these special materials ready all day so that Eisen could just keep working without any worry.

He cut apart the cloth into the sizes that it had to be before placing them to the side, of course sorted so that Eisen knew which potion or concoction he had to put into which one later and he couldn"t accidentally mess it up somehow.

But after the old man finished all these sets, he chose that it was time for him to go to bed as well. He spent a little bit outside of the capsule just going on a walk outside to get to the fresh air with his other body, but soon he came back into this world and then continued his work.

Eisen started grinding down his materials in large amounts and then turned them into the potions, jellies, and concoctions that he needed for the organs. The old man filled the cloth organs up and then sewed them together so that he had 11 sets of properly connected organs that were then placed into the skeleton. Of course, the heart was always still open, since that"s where the golem core would be placed later on.

Next, Eisen started working on the muscles that he had woven together using special threads, also prepared by his apprentices, and soon there were a bunch of bodies laying in front of Eisen. It looked as if he was a serial killer that had skinned his victims and was just staring at them now.

Eisen properly got started with this and then started cutting the leather parts into shape, but at that point, the day was already over. He technically didn"t finish that many "steps" in total today and yesterday, but considering that he had been doing those steps for 11 golems, he was able to actually save some time with this instead of wasting it, like it somewhat seemed to Eisen every once in a while.

After Eisen slept the roughly four hours that he needed now again, the old man could get started on placing the skin onto the golems. Again, he first placed a layer of special cloth directly onto the muscles before covering that cloth with the leather. Of course, none of these materials were just as high-tier as the ones for the first Bodyguard Golem Eisen made, but that didn"t meant that they were low-grade either. They were still pretty amazing materials.

The old craftsman managed to finish all of these golems and then just sat down and ma.s.s-produced the suits for them. He was able to finish 8 of them completely before it was time for him to go to sleep again.

The next day, Eisen finished the rest of the suits and placed them onto the golems, before starting to get to work on the golem cores.

He first ma.s.s-produced each individual part that he needed for that, so the individual sub-controllers, and then put them together into the 11 larger crystal-spheres. The rest of the day was just spent with Eisen then enchanting the rest of these large Golem Cores and placing the souls into them.

Eisen then one after another compressed these special golem cores in the same way that he compressed the one for the first bodyguard golem, and placed the cores into the Bodyguard Golems" hearts before closing them up completely.

Eisen looked at the Golems and then one after another started pouring his mana into the golem cores and had them stand up while he saw them as finished. Amongst the 11 practically identical information screens, there were five other notification-sets that Eisen was focusing on just a little bit more than them.

Eisen looked at the notifications one after another in complete confusion, "What..?" Eisen muttered to himself quietly, "Mastered Skills?" He asked himself, trying to see if he could somehow remember any information about any sort of "Mastered" skill, but he really wasn"t sure.

This definitely came incredibly unexpected.

And so did the notification that came next.
