Spending My Retirement In A Game

Chapter 567

Eisen stood in front of the structure that created yin and yang materials from yin and yang ma.s.ses, trying to figure out what he could possibly do to create more high-tier materials. Or rather, to create as many materials as possible in as little a time as possible.

What Eisen could do is let himself be taken over by the curses and blessings in an environment where the "Wild" version of him couldn"t have a chance to escape. That "wild" version was supposed to still be a thing even after Eisen revived, that"s exactly what Eisen was going for. It was an actual "Being of Yin" or a "Being of Yang", instead of just a ma.s.s. If Eisen could kill those beings and create the compound from the corpses, or create a direct "Being of Yin and Yang". There was sure to be some sort of benefit to doing that and "offering" that instead of just regular ma.s.ses.

That"s what Eisen was hoping at the very least, but he couldn"t be sure either. But for the most part, the metals that he got from doing this before were really perfect for him. They were amazing to work with, and the items he was able to create with them were also perfect fits for him. Sure, that might also have been influenced by the fact that Eisen turned them into ego-items, but either way, the metals surely also played a part in that.

The old man tried his best to think of good ideas for items that he could make once he got different types of materials, but he didn"t settle on anything yet. He would probably get a spark of inspiration when actually holding the materials, but either way, there was sure to be some sort of effect when Eisen infused them with the essences of those realms by trying to craft items using the materials either in heaven or h.e.l.l.

Eisen was pretty excited about it, really. It might be a bit bothersome to lose a few levels usually, but Eisen was protected from level-loss at the moment due to the fact he was just level 300, and someone"s level couldn"t drop below level 300 anymore.

Maybe Eisen would get some more ideas on what he could make on the island of craftsmans.h.i.+p. After all, it seemed like there were a lot of different items with a humanoid or beast-like form. Eisen didn"t really consider making things like outfits into ego-items yet, but in the end, it was something that he maybe should do. Ego-Items were incredibly useful things after all, and having something that cna grow alongside you was never something bad.

And due to the fact that these yin and yang materials were rather hard to acquire, Eisen didn"t want to waste them on small items that Eisen or the others could use for maybe a week, that would then become useless because the items" benefits weren"t that great anymore compared to what they could make use of instead.

"h.e.l.lo there." Constant said with a bright smile on his face as he appeared right next to Eisen, and the old man turned his head over toward the Core Guardian, "h.e.l.lo Constant. Anything wrong?" The old man asked, but the Core Guardian just smiled and looked at the large carved sphere in front of Eisen as well.

"Nothing wrong, no. I just wanted to see if everything was alright. I thought that maybe I could be of some help to you to try and figure out what you want to do." Constant suggested, and Eisen raised his brows with a smile.

"Really? And how can you do that?" Eisen asked, and Constant lightly smiled, "It"s simple. Amongst all the core guardians here, I"m the one that spent most time with you. And since Serio and Girland can"t know what"s going on inside of my garden as long as they don"t actively pay attention to it, and I simply know about everything in here, I"m really the only one amongst us guardians that knows about all your mannerisms and techniques while you work. I know your process perfectly, or at least I"d like to say I do." Constant explained rather proudly, before Eisen looked down at the core guardian with a light smile on his face.

"Is that so?" Eisen asked, "Then come on, help me a bit. In the past, when trying to make ma.s.ses of yin and yang, did I ever try to just let myself be completely overwhelmed instead of simply cutting off a limb?" Eisen asked, and Constant thought about it for a while and then shook his head.

"Not as far as I remember, but we spoke about this before. Imagine an out-of-control, chaotic being of destruction with the body of someone that can easily destroy a country or two in an afternoon and still have time to make dinner. I don"t think that"s great, right?" Constant pointed out with a slight laugh, "You should be able to make use of this technique now without too much damage over here. But are you sure you should do it? You received quite some damage to your right arm through the curses, after all, right?"

Eisen looked down at his arm with a light frown and grumbled a little, "The curses were the reason for the tumors?"

"Were they not?" Constant asked, and Eisen lightly frowned, "I mean, my arm was always pretty damaged... but that"s not a reason to get tumors to grow in there, I don"t think. Maybe the curses accelerated it a bit, or it was something else." The old man muttered to himself, "But my left arm didn"t change in the slightest after the blessings."

"I might be wrong. I don"t know anything about that side, after all. But either way, if you want to try, then you should try! But I think maybe we should do it after you"re all back from those two islands, since that"s priority number one for all of you for now, right?"

"Right. Good idea, thanks, Constant." Eisen said with a smile on his face. Together with the Core Guardian, the old man made his way toward his workshop, where the others were already waiting for Eisen to make some more items.

---

The next morning, everyone gathered at the harbor by the large s.h.i.+p again. Everyone that would come with them to the islands of craftsmans.h.i.+p and then immediately after that, the island of war. That included Askr again, of course. There was no way that they wouldn"t take him with them, he was an amazing a.s.set in combat, after all. Eisen watched as the wood Giant picked up everyone and brought them to the dungeon gate set into its chest at the moment, and then helped Askr sit down on the s.h.i.+p.

Jyuuk"s undead were taking care of steering the s.h.i.+p again, and Jyuuk was one of the few people that would stay outside the dungeon for the whole time because he wanted to make sure that nothing was going wrong with his undead and beasts that he was using to control the whole s.h.i.+p.

Meanwhile, the others were inside of the Dungeon, waiting for the s.h.i.+p to start moving toward the island, and most importantly, preparing themselves for the combat. Because there were actually a few people that Eisen had never really considered as positive a.s.sets for this kind of thing before. Like Monster Warriors that lived on the central island and in prototype before. They were mostly there for the fight against the monsters on the island of war, but they might also be a good addition for the island of craftsmans.h.i.+p.

They had a lot, a lot of people and monsters here that were capable of fighting, as well as a few craftsmen. That included the four grandmasters, but also a few monster and guardian craftsmen so that they could go along and make sure that the items of different groups were always in peak condition.

Eisen himself was currently just trying to finish up the second Core Guardian for the islands that he was working on since last night, and the grandmasters were watching with incredible curiosity, because the guardians were incredibly intricately built. They had been living in Prototype for a couple of days now, so they and their families had come in contact with a lot of Guardians. It obviously made them incredibly curious about what kind of production methods could create such life-like artificial beings.

And now, Eisen slowly pressed one of the last metal plates and smaller panels into the Core Guardian"s body and then looked all over the figure"s body to make sure that everything was really in good condition. With satisfaction, Eisen placed the Core Guardian into a small storage box and then placed it into his item storage.

"What a useful ability..." Morrom muttered quietly, "You can keep so many things in there." The Dwarf-Elf pointed out, and Eisen looked at his cluttered storage and nodded his head.

"Yeah, but I was planning on sorting through it a bit, actually. I should probably get to that now. We do have a little more time, after all." Eisen pointed out, and with a swift motion just made all of the items and materials inside of hte item storage until now simply stay in place and lay on the ground. A few pieces of metal and cloth fell to the ground, but it wasn"t that big a deal.

Eisen looked at the "room" in front of him, and then grabbed some wood out of the materials that he just dropped onto the ground. He was visualizing everything that he wanted inside of the item storage while starting to work on the things that he knew for definite he would need, and asked the other grandmasters for their opinions.

"Hm, how about a workbench? Might be useful to have if you"re somewhere where you don"t have much access to things like that." Jekyll suggested, but the very next moment, Eisen swung his hand to the side and created a very simple workbench out of his element.

"I don"t think I need that all too much. I"m really just looking for ways to sort my materials and items in more easily. Like holders for different items, shelves specifically made for different materials, and so on. That kind of thing." Eisen explained quickly. He tried to think about what else he could really make to add onto the item storage for now, and he really just had rather basic ideas. The only issue was that this would all take up a fair amount of the limited s.p.a.ce Eisen had, but he figured that was better than having to sort through a mountain of mixed materials every time he wanted to get anything at all.
