Spending My Retirement In A Game

Chapter 712 Armor-Sui

Chapter 712 Armor-Sui

Eisen walked through the halls of his castle with weirdly nostalgic emotions coursing through his mind. It was probably due to the large amount of memories that the old man recovered while he was in heaven and h.e.l.l. Like these areas were slowly becoming more and more familiar, but nothing that Eisen could grasp yet.

So for now, all of these positive emotions just became nostalgia in the back of his mind for now. But at the very least, he didn"t feel bad about this place, showing him that it was somewhere that he liked spending time in the past.

Eisen soon reached the place that was his bedroom before, a place where he hadn"t spent even a full hour of his time total since he started "playing this game". Here, Eisen started to sort some of the items that he had in his item storage out. There were quite a few clothes in there as well, after all, many of which were meant for himself.

The closet was surprisingly large, even if nothing was left inside of there. Eisen sorted everything in, the different shoes, s.h.i.+rts, pants, jackets, and so on that he made for himself. And then, he started sorting out the items that he made for the others.

He was giving a few items, such as materials, to Serio so that he could bring them to Constant in the gardens, where the Core Helper would quickly sort everything in properly. The treasures that Eisen managed to collect were then brought down to the treasury, also by Serio, while Eisen continued to prepare everything else properly.

The first thing he did was give the three children that were with him right now the items that he made for them. First, that included clothes as well. A nice suit that was mostly white with a few black details, that would grow in size with him depending on his evolutions for Sal. Of course, this suit was made to increase the flow of magic within the Spider-boy"s body while increasing his stamina and other physical abilities considerably. The shoes that Eisen made to fit with the suit would improve his ability to dance and move his feet in general, as well as simply boosting his movement speed. And at last, the silk gloves were there to increase Sal"s ability to manipulate his threads through his hands.

At the same time, Eisen had interwoven a few magic materials into the gloves as well to make them easier to use as wand-replacements.

Then, the items that Eisen made for Caria were a bit lower in complexity, but still just as impressive. Mostly, she just received a dress that Eisen worked on quite a bit, making sure that it was a powerful enough item to help her magic. And beside that, since she didn"t like wearing shoes, gloves, or jewelry in general, Eisen came up with something else that she might like. He made a bag for her!

More specifically, a bag that she could store a large number of different seeds, saplings, and nuts in so that she could use her abilities properly. It was something that was making use of Eisen"s Item Storage ability, edited in certain ways so that Caria would be able to make use of it similar to how the cla.s.sic "Inventory" in normal games would work.

A screen would appear in front of her and she could press on the right field, making the item pop out of a subs.p.a.ce in front of her so that she could grab it easily. At the same time, it could still be used like a normal bag, of course, to prepare some of the most important items for herself that she could grab normally out of the bag. And of course, it was pretty stylish as well, although he had to get a bit of help from some other craftsmen, more specifically the female ones, to figure out what a young girl would look for in a bag.

And at last, the clothes that Eisen made for Melissa were in the same style as the clothes she was wearing until now, simply some shorts, an oversized hoody, as well as some simple, sneaker-like shoes.

Once again, the clothes were made to increase Melissa"s physical abilities, while the shoes were made to give her the ability to push herself up into the sky a bit more easily. As if she would be able to swim higher using her feet.

The back of the hoody was made so that Melissa"s wings could easily slip through the cloth, by making it so that the back would momentarily disappear in the places where her wings were moving through, to let her fly normally.

Beside that, Eisen made a small backpack for her that she could wear, even without obstructing her wings too much while she was flying, and it was specially-made so that Melissa could have a lot of her bees hide out within it as if it was an incredibly large beehive, since Eisen built it with some spatial-gems combined with Melissa"s "Hive" element.

All three of them were incredibly happy with the items that they received, quickly changing into them to properly show them off. And while they were happily doing that, Eisen himself also changed out of his current clothes, the blacksmith outfit, and changed into the suit that he made for himself in Heaven.

The one that he would be able to temporarily combine with the special King"s Armor that could be found in the throne-room. Eisen wanted to look presentable when walking through town for the first time in what felt like forever.

Once Caria, Sal and Melissa were done changing as well, Eisen stepped through the halls and reached the throne room, where he picked up the armor.

"Your Majesty? Did you not just change into that suit?" Girland inquired, since she was a bit confused about what the old man was trying to do, and Eisen smirked lightly, "That I did. Don"t worry, you"ll see what"s going on in a bit."

Eisen first grabbed the leg-pieces and slowly strapped them to himself, using his mana to fuse them with the different sections of the pants. Whenever he did, the golden armor seemed to practically melt into Eisen"s pants. While they kept the nature of regular cloth-pants, they started taking on a metallic s.h.i.+ne in the affected areas. On top of that, some thin lines, runes and patterns appeared on the pants in the same way as they could be seen on the armor.

It certainly didn"t look like any other normal pair of suit-pants anymore, but it didn"t look all too far off from it. It looked quite impressive to Eisen, but that might be because he himself made these items.

After fusing the rest of the armor with the normal parts of the suit, he had to admit that it looked like as if he was wearing some form of armor due to some subtle changes in the shape and thickness of the suit, but for the most part it still had the same aesthetic as Eisen wanted.

Now, Eisen just had to fuse the black leather gloves with the gauntlets, the nice shoes with the boots, and the crown with the nice fedora he made for himself. This completed the aesthetic close to perfectly. The only thing that was left was to fuse the "King"s Sceptre" with the wooden walking-cane that Eisen also made for himself in heaven.

This whole outfit was probably the complete opposite to what Eisen wore before this, simply wool pants and a leather ap.r.o.n, but he didn"t mind that. It was still nice to look like this every once in a while. And of course, as the King of this country, he did have a bit of a responsibility to look presentable every once in a while.

And walking around barefoot with dirty feet wasn"t particularly "presentable" as far as Eisen was concerned. With all of this done, and Girland rather satisfied, the old man made his way out of this castle, "Ah, please, stay behind. I"ll call you if I need you." The old man said as he looked at both Serio and Girland, and the two of them quickly nodded and disappeared in a cloud of mist.

The old man slowly descended the steps of his castle"s front-door. He could already see the Dungeon set up in the distance, so he would be heading there later. He figured that Cabarum and Aulu would be there, and obviously Fafnir and Sigurd had to be there too. He figured that Bree, Sky, Kiron, and the other Dragon Knights were scattered around this city. He didn"t hear that they left this place, at least, so Eisen was excited to find them soon enough.

With the three children following behind him, Eisen stepped through the gates that were guarded through some special Golems in the form of armor-suits. In the plaza in front of the gates, a number of people and monsters were gathered. Apparently there was some kind of market going on there this morning. Different vegetables, fruits, and random items were being sold here. This was pretty interesting to Eisen, but it seemed like the only thing that those gathered here found interesting was Eisen himself.

All of the Guardians, Monsters, and NPC"s gathered here immediately focused their attention on Eisen, some of them rus.h.i.+ng up to him to greet him now that he was finally back. Eisen recognized most of the ones that came up to him as well, so that was good.

The ones that were staying back were the players, however, that thought that this was some sort of event going on. They wanted to stay back for a while to see what would happen, and to see if maybe they would get a quest if they approached this carefully enough.

But of course, that wasn"t really the case. Once the monsters, guardians, and NPC"s went back to their regular business, Eisen continued walking through the market while being approached by a handful of players every once in a while.

They were trying to sell Eisen random items that they made, unaware of who this old man really was. It made sense, Eisen"s current aesthetic was incredibly different to his normal one that nearly every single player knew.

Eisen declined them with a smile on his face. Slowly, even the players were realizing who Eisen was, even if they weren"t able to appraise the old man due to the appraisal-blocking abilities of the armor that Eisen fused with his suit.

Some were getting excited, some didn"t realize in the first place, and other tried to convince Eisen to have him let them into u003cWorld"s Peaku003e.

All the whilst Eisen simply continued on forward.
