The Corpse Ruler Confuses the World, All Seven Husbands Are Devils

Chapter 13

Mo Qinyu grabbed her sword and approached Mo Qingli,  until the sharp edge of the blade was pressed against Mo Qingli’s throat. It wasn’t until she saw a thin slit of blood seeping out of the skin that she loftily said, “Everything you own is something that I gave you, so why are you giving me that look now? Hmm? Say it now!”

The sword once again pressed forward. The sharp pain in her neck told Mo Qingli that this threat was for real, that unexpectedly right now a sword was being pressed against her neck by a laughable mortal. She had lived so many years without anyone daring to hurt her, but unexpectedly it was now a mortal that that wounded her. Hehe…..good, very good!

“What are you laughing at?” At hearing Mo Qingli’s mocking laughter towards her, Mo Qingyu faintly trembled, a bad premonition swiftly rising within her.

Mo Qingli did not answer her words, instead reaching out a slim finger and extending it towards the wound on her neck. She dabbed gingerly at the blood, her tongue peeking through her small mouth out delicately, tasting it. Oh, so this is the taste of my blood? How come it’s not as tasty as Feng Chenling’s.

Thinking of Feng Chenling and those two deep black holes on his face, Mo Qingli’s pupils momentarily became cold. Staring directly at Mo Qingyu, she reached out another slim finger, lightly touching the blade of the sword. Standing up, she slowly closed in against Mo Qingyu, until she was pressed in the corner of the room with no room to escape. With one hand braced against the wall, Mo Qingli completely surrounded Mo Qingyu, her ink-black pupils revealing no sign of warmth whatsoever, and her entire body emitting a cold air.

She seemed just like a death G.o.d, rendering Mo Qingyu incapable of breathing. Mo Qingyu felt as if she had just fallen into the depths of h.e.l.l, the air of death permeating the surroundings; her entire body began to shake, and she no longer dared to look up at Mo Qingli.

Mo Qingli reached out a delicate hand to grab Mo Qingyu’s chin and raise it up, pinching together her two cheeks, indifferently saying: “From now on, if you point that sword towards me ever again, the consequences will be your own responsibility.”

Mo Qingyu slowly slid down against the wall, dropping onto the ground, her shirt already completely soaked with sweat, sticking against her skin.

“Oh, right.”

Mo Qingyu, as if hearing the terrifying sound of the devil, alarmingly looked at Mo Qingli, who was now leisurely sitting on the chair. She trembled, not know what Mo Qingli wanted to say.

Mo Qingli stared satisfactorily towards Mo Qingyu’s behavior. She had just purposefully emitted the killing intent that only jiangshi could produce, letting Mo Qingyu experience the terror of death; sure enough, the result had finally been achieved. The corners of her mouth lightly pointed upwards as she now indifferently said, “My people, if anyone tries to move against them, will be killed, with, no, forgiveness.”

Tao Yi stood outside the door with a great deal of trepidation. As he knocked on the door with both hands he trembled incessantly, the constant left-right knocking causing the guards that stood on both sides of the door to stare at him coldly. Tao Yi wiped clean the sweat on his forehead, his teeth chattering, bracing himself before staring at the room before saying, “Eldest Princess, Sixth Princess, the auction for the courtesans are about the begin. You—you see, isn’t it time to come out?”

After waiting for a long time, and not hearing any sounds come from the room inside, the sweat on Tao Yi’s forehead began to trail down on his no longer youthful face and against his cheeks. The shirt that he was currently wearing had been long soaked with sweat, his body uncontrollably shaking, and the pants that was currently wearing had also been stained by an undeterminable liquid, to the point that he nearly collapsed onto the floor. This kind of living was really too undoable; two of his ancestors had to be quarreling, how come even the guards are looking at me murderously, my fortune today is really bad, ah!

Just as Tao Yi was blaming the G.o.ds for his bad fortune, the door swung open. The Eldest Princess took the initiative to exit the room, her face stark white, the nearby maids hurriedly approaching her side to support her. Shakily, with all the dignity she could muster, Mo Qingyu said, “Walk ahead of me.”
