The Doomed And Blessed, 13th Young Miss

Chapter 3

CHAPTER 3

The doom that lingered over me, made me plan even further ahead. I still was going to crawl and observe, as soon as possible. But, as soon as I could walk, I was going to learn Martial Arts or cultivation, which made me more determined to find out more about this world.

I had never learnt Martial Arts in my former life, but I had already one in mind. Considering I was normally a lazy, laid back person, I preferred the technique where I use the opponent’s own strength against themselves. Since I didn’t look into it so much, I couldn’t even remember the name of it.

I couldn’t remember some other things lately though too, but my memory had never been that great to begin with. As long as I remembered my experiences and through that, things I needed to help me through this life, it was okay to forget some things.

Sadly, there were some useless things I still did remember, like postcodes and my first phone number. But, I laughed about these numbers, that no longer held any kind of importance.

As my ears seemed to work better, as the days moved on, I became clearer on my situation. On this planet, I resided in an estate that was in a capital ‘city’ called ‘Green Haven’, and of course, there was an Emperor…Even though there was a lack of interest on that information, the opposite happened when I grew to know of the knowledge that there was indeed cultivation here!

Having read books beforehand in my previous life, I had a basic understanding of it, but what I knew was, they were books and this place could be very different.

The way they do it and learn it, may be something totally hard or something I can’t understand…Who knows…

What I did know, not that I understood, was that apparently, ‘The first son’ had become a third rank cultivator and with the way people close to me sounded, it was a good thing.

The other thing I found out…Was that my ‘father’ was 45 and I was his thirteenth child. I was cla.s.sified, then deemed as bad luck and have been abandoned.

Ah, now I get it.

I couldn’t help but laugh.

I was really good in my last life! How do I deserve this!?

That wasn’t all…I had also been born on the thirteenth day of the month, on what I would call a ‘Black Friday’…With this, my ‘father’, I heard, went one step further to somewhat act as though he had already disowned me.

All that I could think he was…Was stupid!

To abandon someone as awesome as me, even with my status and time of birth…Would have to be stupid!

And since I had cla.s.sified my ‘father’ as ‘stupid’, I no longer cared for him.

I was pretty good at putting things that were out of my control to the back of my mind. I even made myself feel better, by thinking there was no cure for stupidity and that my life should be easier because of this!

As the time flew by, I entertained myself through my past life. I watched moves in my head, and tried to remember manga’s and books that I had read. I did what I called ‘baby exercises’, which helped me crawl a little earlier than normal, but…I kept it a secret!

I started with going to the door…

I’m bushed! This might take longer than I thought!

Being b.u.mmed out, over my short escape to the door, I had a day off.

I never had so much appreciation for babies…Ever! Seriously, they had to work so hard!

The next day, it was the same, and I purposely sucked harder for my meal that night!

If I had other things to do, I may have shrugged this off. But…I didn’t! I needed to be strong…Right now!

I knew I was dreaming of something that couldn’t possibly happen so quickly, but being harshly put on the small bed and then left alone again, I couldn’t help it!

Mumbling my sorrows away, and exhausted through my ‘baby exercises’ and crawling, I fell asleep.
