Evelynn nodded to Davis, causing him to be intrigued.

He knew the three hexes, Collapsing Hex, Sealing Hex and Poison Hex were the innate hexes of the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid. Evelynn learned many other hexes in her pursuit to cure Clara and in those moments, she had the idea of using her primary hexes as a base to build on the strength of her other hexes.

After all, most other hex techniques available on the hidden market or in the library of the Aurora Cloud Gate were pretty weak.

It was difficult to hex someone, so the intricacies involving hexes were always harder to comprehend but Evelynn had surpa.s.sed that advanced level and entered the expert level, now becoming able to mix a lot of hexes together in order to procure the effect she desired.

However, some hexes were faster and some were slower.

To cure Clara took so much research and a long surgery consisting of decaying her soul physique and reattaching it to a hex. In essence, Evelynn could control Clara but she also cut her connection to the hex. Hence, Clara had become a free soul devoid of influence.

But after coming here, the heavens" authority was too strong, so Clara"s physique became connected to the heavens again. However, it seemed like she was still sane.

Regardless, he was glad that his beauties were all growing up powerful in their fields.

Davis chuckled, "That"s great. We can shut his mouth this way. I don"t want to just rely on using my Judgment Laws on an Autarch, not knowing if it would take effect on such an ent.i.ty."

"So we"re casting both? What if it interfered with each other and caused the hex to activate earlier?"

She doubted his Judgment Laws and her Hex Laws were compatible.

One was a fusion of Karma Laws and Death Laws and the other was a fusion of Poison Laws and Karma Laws. Even if they were compatible, they couldn"t just superimpose and needed to train together in order to become compatible.

"Don"t we have the finest test subject here?" Davis winked.

It made Evelynn blink, not knowing what to say as it could make the Metenoa Family"s Autarch a r.e.t.a.r.d. It went against their plans. However, she also agreed that there wasn"t any easier way to improve their powers.

Besides, an Autarch"s soul wasn"t going to easily collapse. As long as they kept their powers to a minimum and tried to make their powers compatible, she felt it was definitely achievable.

It didn"t take much for Evelynn to shrug and nod her head at Davis.

"Very well. That settles it."

Davis looked down, looking for a place to a secluded place to land on.

They couldn"t just float in the air and risk further eyes peeping on them. Fortunately, he didn"t sense any other presence other than feral beasts although those feral beasts were long gone since they were scared of the Autarch"s presence.

Below them was a valley where a river ran. They descended and hid the flying boat behind a mountain, further descending to enter deep into the valley before they carved out a cave and entered.

The cave wasn"t small but huge.

They surrounded the Metenoa Family"s Autarch.

Lereza floated above, sealing the surroundings with her vines while Evelynn, Isabella, Myria and Davis stayed inside the vines.

Myria stood behind Davis and placed her hand on Davis"s naked back as he had removed his upper robe. It wasn"t necessary that they hold hands but have direct contact, skin-to-skin contact for their souls to resonate.

On the other side, Evelynn sat opposite Davis. Between them was the Metenoa Family"s Autarch whose cultivation couldn"t be sealed anymore. In fact, he was covered in an icy layer now, appearing to be frozen by Tanya"s sword attack.

If they left him alone and he didn"t wake up, he would die in a few days.

Davis and Evelynn nodded and began casting their hex and judgment energy as they reached out their hands.

One exuded a dreadful and sinister sensation and the other was full of authoritative and condescending might.

Evelynn cast the Slave Hex. Her purplish-gray energy transformed into a crimson rube, holding the Collapse Hex as its base. She cast a weak hex to test the waters and pushed it towards the Metenoa Family Autarch"s soul sea. Without much of a resistance, it latched on to the latter"s soul sea, embedding itself in the soul essence.

It didn"t matter if Metenoa Family"s Autarch went as far as to erase his memories. The hex would still activate if he broke the karmic condition imposed upon him.

The same goes for Davis"s Judgment Laws. The only difference was that he couldn"t actively control the person"s movements while Evelynn can but the damage he could inflict was way worse than what Evelynn could inflict even if she used her Collapse Hex.

After all, this kind of hex could only be cast slowly while his Judgment Laws techniques were basically instant as long as he could reap the karmic nature of the opponent.

Davis had already collected the other party"s karmic nature.

He cast judgment energy on the Metenoa Family"s Autarch and imbued it with Evelynn.

After every try, they stopped to discuss what went wrong and so it took them three more hours. Myria also gave many inputs since she had mastered the fusion of many Primary Laws at a basic level.

After five more tries, the two of them smiled.

They finally discovered a method to allow the two powers to exist together, so they dispersed it and began creating anew, this time far more powerful and far more effective.

Abruptly, the Metenoa Family"s Autarch woke up. He reached out his hand towards Davis, intending to kill him but unfortunately, his arm was nowhere to be found. His movements were also slow with him covered in ice and his cultivation sealed.

Davis and Evelynn didn"t bother to react and cast their judgment energy and Slave Hex on him. By this time, they already knew what he was capable of and what he wasn"t as they had him in their grasp.
