Searching For You

Chapter 137

The King turned his grandson to face the audience sitting in rows and rows before them. Pa Chee pulled the teacup up to her mouth for a sip while staring at the boy and it was then that she saw the boy whose resemblance was so strong to Mua Kong causing her heart to shook violently. Not only her heart was in disheveled but her face stiffens and body trembled causing the teacup in her hand to fall down making a break sound.

Pa Chee looked pale, paler than the white cloud floating under the calm sky. What is the meaning of this? How could it be? Is the child Hli Ja"s or another woman? The boy looked too much like Mua Kong to not be his child. But who is the mother? Could Hli Ja still be alive? She was sure Hli Ja was burned down in the fire. With how the inn went up in flames, there is no way Hli Ja could have make it out alive? And if she did, why was there rumored that she ran away? Many reasons rampaged through her mind when she dropped the teacup. She couldn"t keep herself composed.

Mua Kong was secretly observing Pa Chee"s reaction. When the teacup dropped down to the ground from her trembles, she had already given herself away to Mua Kong. Now he just needs to make her confess to her crime, no amount of power can help her when she decided to be the enemy of him by hurting his most important woman. He"ll slowly torture her mind until she caves in. Pa Chee"s family turned to look at her when her teacup fell and shattered.

"You… alright?" Da Neng asked her as he signaled for a servant who is on standby.

"I… I"m alright father." Pa Chee replied nervously trying to act as normal as she could. She couldn"t look at her father in the eyes and was afraid to look over at Mua Kong"s direction.

The servant that Da Neng signaled came to clean up the broken pieces before replacing the teacup.

Soon, Elder Mae came out of the gate entrance carrying a bowl on a tray. She made her way to the Royal Pavilion and noticed the Young Lord is sitting on the King"s laps. She walked over to Mua Kong"s table and sat the bowl down on the table. "My Lord, this is the food for the Young Lord. It is still very hot, let it cool down for a little bit."

"Mm..." Mua Kong nodded.

The King had many questions he wanted to ask, but seeing that his grandson is well and healthy, he chose to just quietly observed his grandson for the time being. He is sure that Hli Ja is alive somewhere and had given birth to the boy. As to how the boy suddenly showed up now, he is not sure of the details.

Mua Mong could not sit still, he wanted to hold his nephew too. So, he got up from his seat and walked over to ask for the boy from his King father. The King slowly handed his grandson over to Mua Mong. "You should learn how to hold children since you will be having one very soon."

"Come, come to uncle." Mua Mong spoke softly with a bright smile hoping to not startle his nephew. From what he could tell earlier is the boy is shy of strangers. He carried the boy over to show to his wife who is now is almost full term as well. She saw that the boy looked very similar to her younger brother in law.

When Mua Mong sat down next to her, she leaned in closer to her husband, "Is Mua Kong? Where he came from?" She was not married to the Royal Palace when Hli Ja was living with Mua Kong at his palace. When she married into the Palace a year ago, Hli Ja was already gone and the boy"s existence was not known to people.

Mua Mong whispered, "I don"t know the details. It is not the right place to ask. We will know later."

After a brief moment, Elder Mae walked over to get Little Superglue. "Your highness, how are you feeling?"

Mua Mong"s wife replied, "I"m doing well, the baby is quite active."

"That"s great! I hope the royal family will be blessed with many more children." Elder Mae turned to Mua Mong, "My Lord, are the preparation done? I will be over soon to help with the transition."
